How petronas digital HR calculate the offered salary ? Consistently % from your existing salary or depends on the position or your worth from experience ? Are they consider the management allowance claim in previous job when calculate the offered salary? I was told, hr will factor it and access accordingly.

1. I have submitted all document included payslip And filled up the expected salary in form.
2. Completed the pre-interview assessment
3. Attended CBI and Technical access interview
4. Waiting and as per told will be one week

The open position is manager level, anyone have idea the salary range for the manager ? I was told their manager & senior manager pay very high compared to market, usually you outside senior manager only can get manager here.

Hey guys, anyone here has any insights/knowledge about whether non bumis get bad treatment or anything in pet? Genuinely concerned especially with elections coming up. I'm really hoping that pet is a good and decently fair company, at least in exec/lower team levels. Thanks in advance for any input

I have one colleague in my team who resigned from Petronas and joined us recently..initially was surprised why he left Petronas since everyone is trying to get in..so I asked him and he told me him being the only non bumi ( indian) in his team, he was bullied by his superior.. the segregation of work wasn't fair and imagine senior exec work pass to him while his senior all goyang kaki and he had to stay back until night to do their work.

During appraisal time also he was given below average score while his senior all bumi given good ratings..eventually he resigned due to toxic work culture..he was in procurement department..so yeah

It seems that non bumis are in quite a tough spot in the company then I genuinely am hoping the other non bumis in other teams would fare better because I still want to believe that the nation's backbone company is a good place. Also hoping that your colleague who left is now in a better spot for another company

But all in all, it seems like it's better for non bumis to stay away from pet then... Sigh. Honestly feels so depressing to let the opportunity go bc of uncontrollable circumstances

How many % they offer? They calculate based on your total earning from your previous salary ? Like cash claim attach in base salary ?

Not sure how they calculate but i got 50% increment

They offer u extra ? Or give your expected ? 50% is upon your base salary or your net salary including any allowance

I have passed my CBI, however they do mention that they will only proceed if I were recommended for the position. Is this normal?
