QUOTE(artimiz @ Dec 29 2022, 04:06 PM) For technical role, at least a Diploma and you should enrol in their INSTEP program. Finishing this programme will qualifies you to be a junior technician as such related to your education background. For engineer/ engineering executive roles, the minimum requirement is degree in engineering. For finance and commercial role, I believe the minimum requirement should be Diploma & higher. I'm not too sure about this. Maybe someone can help out? Dean's List not required but atleast CGPA above 3.00 to be consider for interview. Hope this answered your question. Wow. Bro. Interesting. Should have tried my luck when I was in my teen & join Petronas. By the way. Is the work conditions there hard, tough, dangerous ? Or shake leg like government servants ? |

QUOTE(ahms89 @ Jan 1 2023, 09:58 PM) I am an ex pet.. maybe i can answer this. Depend on your contract. There is Contract direct Hire - they call it CDH and 3rd party contract. Contract direct hire is a contract by PETRONAS it self. They will have same medical benefit as permanent staff but for themselves only (i cant remember if they got for spouse and kids). Also depend on 1 year contract of 2 years contract- different benefit as well. Interesting. But what happens after the contract ends ? Jobless ? Or renew contract again & again. ThanksBut if you are 3rd party contract - then the benefit is depend on the company who pay your salary. How do differentiate - CDH staff got a yellow line under their picture on PETRONAS Staff card while 3rd party contract will only get Perkhidmatan staff card - no picture. |
