Last month complaint for the enhanced cashback until now not settled. This month need complain again...

mine petrol, utilities, online and grocery are correct, only for insurance auto debit i did not get, last time can get under other 0.2%. Enhanced cash back i email to them, cs asked to call, so u complain by phone or have other method?

I give up on this card. Cancelling all of it. Not worth my time and trouble to keep track on the cashback - which is the responsibility of the bank in the first place.

Any good petrol cashback credit card that's doesn't limit by brand or day of the week that you sign up to for replacing this Shell card?

I wait for time just before next sst cycle for cancellation. Even though have mbb Petronas card, cimb original is more attractive now lol.

Consider Maybank's Ikhwan Amex? 8% for any spend any day of the week wherever amex is accepted (which is... all petrol stations).

maybank visa signature --- downside is need min rm30k per annum spending to get AF waived. else, AF is charged at rm550.

rm30k per annum spending seems trivial at first, but need to monitor closely if you've achieved rm30k before next annual cycle.


for me, i use Setel > Maybank Ikhwan Petronas card for 8% cb during weekend Petronas pump. i'm pumping for 2 cars and still got unutilized cb quota every month due to low mileage (which is effectively good)


alternatively, affin duo+ visa signature 3% contactless cb is also acceptable as backup.

or another new card from bank rakyat for MOE's teachers

Can this card be used with Shell apps and get the cashback? I dont think Shell apps accept AMEX as payment method and even if Shell apps accept AMEX in the future, whether the transaction using this card with Shell apps is considered as online instead of petrol.

My spend on petrol and groceries are not that much and definitely wont achieve 30k spend per year to waive annual fee. Currently using Affin Duo+ Visa for petrol and looking for higher cashback if possible.


tried applying for this Bank Muamalat card since 7 Oct and until now, the application is still not processed. Called call centre to complain but until now still no action from them.
