Is Google or OneDrive subscription considered online or auto debit for Shell card?

Actually if the revision comes without the min spent per category, I think it's still a good card to keep
QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Jul 12 2025, 08:09 PM) Why search for online, ewallet top-up is the easiest way to meet that criteria (or SPayLater if that fits your spending pattern). Problem is how to hit the groceries minimum RM250 (I already have multiple UOB One cards with 10% much easier to get). Even utilities RM250 sounds reasonable unless you already have something else reducing your utilities bill (e.g. solar). Also another stupid thing... even the unlimited category got minimum spend! My conclusion is just...this card isn't for me anymore unfortunately. |

Don't know what RHB is smoking to call the revision as enhanced benefis. I hope RHB can listen to customers by removing the minimum spend per category and give cashback % based on total spend just like other cards from competitor banks.

This is probably the reason RHB delay the enhanced benefits revision, ie to fix screw up cashback.

Does this mean if I spend 2.5k (417 petrol and remaining ewallet top up) and transactions posted before 8 Sep, I will still get cashback 100? At least this is what I understand from FAQ. Is my understanding correct? CoffeeDude liked this post

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Oct 23 2025, 12:06 AM) Consider Maybank's Ikhwan Amex? 8% for any spend any day of the week wherever amex is accepted (which is... all petrol stations). Can this card be used with Shell apps and get the cashback? I dont think Shell apps accept AMEX as payment method and even if Shell apps accept AMEX in the future, whether the transaction using this card with Shell apps is considered as online instead of petrol.QUOTE(cybpsych @ Oct 23 2025, 07:39 AM) maybank visa signature --- downside is need min rm30k per annum spending to get AF waived. else, AF is charged at rm550. My spend on petrol and groceries are not that much and definitely wont achieve 30k spend per year to waive annual fee. Currently using Affin Duo+ Visa for petrol and looking for higher cashback if possible.rm30k per annum spending seems trivial at first, but need to monitor closely if you've achieved rm30k before next annual cycle. for me, i use Setel > Maybank Ikhwan Petronas card for 8% cb during weekend Petronas pump. i'm pumping for 2 cars and still got unutilized cb quota every month due to low mileage (which is effectively good) alternatively, affin duo+ visa signature 3% contactless cb is also acceptable as backup. or another new card from bank rakyat for MOE's teachers QUOTE(ideaplus @ Oct 23 2025, 09:53 AM) I am eyeing the Maybank Visa Signature, and I will just top up RM2500/month into the e-wallet to achieve the minimum spending of RM30K tried applying for this Bank Muamalat card since 7 Oct and until now, the application is still not processed. Called call centre to complain but until now still no action from them.Or this new Muamalat EON Visa Infinite-i? 5% Cash Back on Contactless Spend (maximum cashback capped at RM50 per month) |
