usually after receive the approval SMS, need wait how many days to collect the card at branch ?

i didn't wait for the call and straight collect the card at branch.
apparently the card had arrived 2 weeks ago and the branch just don't bother to make a call.

no answer despite numerous call to branch and their call centre, so i straight try my luck and collect it

after 2 weeks of collecting the card from branch, suddenly received a phone call from branch, informing me my card is ready to be collected.

i was like bangwall.gif bangwall.gif bangwall.gif

1st class service by rhb

for my RHB-Shell card, they automatically block all bigpay transaction.
although i enter the correct TAC SMS but RHB still decline it, as confirm with BigPay.

call the horrible customer service number for days and finally get someone to answer the phone call, was told their system flag it as high risk and hence block.

and will restore it soon.

but same problem persist.


Long story short, after almost 2 weeks and multiple calls to rhb, everytime they will tell you it will be resolved within 1 hour, 6 hours or 24 hours (different officer diff response), but nothing at all, bigpay still non usable.

until finally i told them this is my last call to rhb, the next call or email will be to BNM, only they solve the problem.

now can reload bigpay using rhb-shell card

yup..
they should do it this way instead of blocking the transaction straight..

only managed to reach them after numerous call..
among so many banks i have experience with, this is easily THE most incompetent bank.

even Affin answer their phone call within few ring.

we can only conclude tat RHB pardigm is very efficient.

but definitely NOT others branch, esp the branch i collect my card at which doesn't call me at all and only call me 2 weeks after i collect my card (>1 month after card approval).

and by having such bad apples branch in your bank with a cust service hotline that is forever NOT answering just simply exhibit the standard of a bank.

why on earth did they force cust leave a phone number for call back after wait for some time but NEVER call back?
you can't keep holding as the system will cut you off

leave your phone number X times, hopefully 1 CS will call you back.

alternatively, call the Report Lost Card section CS (tested confirm answer very soon brows.gif ) and grumble to them, might work sometime. icon_idea.gif hmm.gif

you should call CS directly to check with them.
if no answer, since its RHB, just send them a secure message in online banking.
they'll take their time to reply within 3 days.

just got the Shell extra cb 18% for May.
from the trend, it seem like the 50k quota is depleted somewhere between 17/5 and 21/5.

as my 17/5 transaction still got 18% while 21/5 transaction have no 18%.

my last shell transaction 17/6.
hopefully still get.
its getting more competitive and cb may deplete earlier due to more card holders

they tell me they can only change the statement date AFTER you clear all outstanding statement balance.

after clear the outstanding, drop them a secure mail and they will do it.

don't bother to call them, noone will ever answer the damn phone
