Sounds like you know your way around networking

Try this:

Login to the Skyworth modem, the authentication details are labeled on the bottom. You need to configure manual IP at your PC.

The QoS is enabled by default, disable them.

It should fix your issue.

Hey man thanks for taking your time to reply to my issue. I have gone into the modem and disabled the QoS. I am still having the same exact issue with both routers as i described earlier.

Make sure to reboot modem after doing that

And, try changing MTU and MRU to 1480 on your ASUS router.

Try using Google DNS, instead of Cloudflare too. Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 does not support EDNS for privacy. However, many CDNs use EDNS to point you to a server nearer or within ISP network.

https://www.blacktubi.com/review/asus-tuf-be6500/

You can see my review of the TUF-BE6500 where I include test results of RT-BE58U and TUF-AX4200 as well

Apart from the 2.4GHz test, the RT-BE58U outperforms the TUF-AX4200

However, the built-quality of TUF-AX4200 is better since it's from the "TUF" aka tough series

Guys, I have a very bizarre issue. I have two Rt-AX59U on a mesh configuration on Time Internet. Been working well for months. Today, the internet stopped working despite showing the usual white light. I restarted both my modem and router and issue still persists. Have done the following:

1. Checked cabling for modem, router and all in good condition
2. Connected via modem to laptop via ethernet - no issues
3. Have hard reset modem, successfully set-up and internet connection detected, only for it to stop working again, white light still showing as normal
4. I have swapped ethernet cables between modem and router and same issue still persists
5. Both hardware firmware are updated to latest version

What do I do next?

Change dns.

Or call time to clarify what issue.

Resetting the modem might have been a bad move

Are you setting it up with the modem in bridge mode or default mode?

What is the connection status in the router network map page?

Thanks folks for those who replied to this. So what actually happened was that Time internet had a system migration and that changed my time device from bridge mode to wifi+bridge. It clashed with my Asus router. So, after resetting everything and configuring all again, I am glad to report that things are back to normal.

No such thing for Malaysia as we don’t have a cyber security certification here unlike CSA in Singapore

Anyways ASUS firmware is updated globally so you can just use the list in UK and SG as reference

I just switched my fibre connection to Unifi 300mbps, but I’m facing several issues:

1. CCTV is not working, even though I’ve set it manually under LAN > IPTV with Internet VID 500, and I left the Primary Node LAN port blank.

2. DDNS is not working, I can’t even connect to it.

The following issues were working with my previous ISP (Maxis), but after switching to Unifi, they no longer work.

I'm using ZenWiFi AX Mini.

Sounds like you are on private IP

Check the IP that you get on the setting page ASUS router and compare with your actual external IP on icanhazip.com

If they are different then it means you are on private IP

DDNS and CCTV remote access requires public IP, you can manually request them from TM

My router shows 100.x.x.x, but the webpage displays 60.50.x.x. I called TM and they said an installer would have to come and fix it OMG. I only requested a public IP, but customer service told me no such thing.

Hi jusbella,

I doesn't seen to be power adapter problem, what you can try is

1) Hardware Reset - https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1039077/
2) Try do firmware restoration - https://www.asus.com/my/support/faq/1000814/

If both also failed, most probably is hardware problem.

Thank you

Then too bad for you then

You need a public IP to use DDNS or access your CCTV externally

that you are private ip that why can't access CCTV

mine are unifi i am public ip i am 500Mbps
i think you had use previouse ISP (Maxis) that maxis already give you Public IP address
you switch unifi 300Mbps getting private ip
you want Public IP address get 500Mbps unifi

i know Unifi 100Mbps to 300Mbps below will getting Private IP and 500Mbpx to 2Gbps Above will getting Public IP
