Hi guys, I recently change to Maxis Fibre on Unifi infra and they replaced my router with Maxis Kaon AR2140 Wifi 6 Router + Skyworth modem.
I am having issues when I try to set up any ASUS router with Maxis Fibre. When I use the "Maxis Fibre Profile", I get my IP in the "175" range and it says "connected", but I couldn't actually browse or do anything.
When I set it up manually and put "621" as the VID, I get the "121" IP and connected to the internet, but watching streams will have issue "Twitch, Kick, TikTok", online services such as Canva will be super slow etc.
Speedtest is super fast though hahaha. Damn it I'm losing my mind

QUOTE(ASUSmy @ Jul 4 2025, 11:38 AM) Hi hantarkatsini2, May I know what is the ASUS router model you are using and have you try updating the firmware to the latest and do a factory reset. Thank you ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 - Maxis Profile or 621 VID = Connected with 175 range IP. Can't browse or do anything TUF Gaming BE6500 - 621 VID = Connected with 121 range IP. Can browse, amazing speedtest result, problem watching streams on Twitch/Kick/TikTok after few seconds will get stuck. Both routers are on the latest firmware. Done factory reset a couple of times also.

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Jul 4 2025, 11:17 PM) Sounds like you know your way around networking Try this: Login to the Skyworth modem, the authentication details are labeled on the bottom. You need to configure manual IP at your PC. The QoS is enabled by default, disable them. It should fix your issue. Hey man thanks for taking your time to reply to my issue. I have gone into the modem and disabled the QoS. I am still having the same exact issue with both routers as i described earlier.
