Already hold for few years and next renewal is Feb next year
So now till Jan I still have 2+1 lounge access
Or 1st Aug onwards I don’t have access unless I spend 120k?

would like to get more clarification on this too,

they state 1st year free 2 lounge access,
means 1st year card holder (ie below 12 months since new card issued) or 1st year from 1st Aug 2025?

Hi all, just a quick question: if I have one virtual card and one visa infinite, and I top up to ewallet for both cards (3k each), do I get to enjoy 8x points for both cards?

2+1 still got, spend 120k become unlimited

anyway, will cancel vi due to af
keep vcc, vs and vp...if vs and vp cannot waive af will cut also...

Revision for VI is coming on 1st Aug.

I'm very sad and very annoyed at the same time..... just got my VI early this year. Thought can enjoy it for a year at least, who knows major nerfed

best workaround for now:
from 1st Aug
activate VCC in apps and use only VCC continue enjoy 8x points.

until sometimes later they cut the VCC benefits too

I requested to increase credit limit for my credit card last week and got rejected. Alliance give the lowest limit only 9k, other bank is 2xk above. Yesterday they nerf the Visa Infinite card, is the time to terminate.

So last spend must be on 31 July or earlier right, for the final 8X TBP.

As for VI I'm gonna cancel as soon as I settle my statement next month. Luckily I already utilise the lounge access this year lol

Actually looking at HLB VI as a replacement now. However limited to Enrich (same as Alliance VI), and only dining category (RM1 = 1 pts). Otherwise UOB VI, better lounge access and can redeem KrisFlyer or Asia Miles, but annual fee quite high unless you spend 50k annually

For me both Maybank and Alliance was about same at approx. RM30K, kinda "stingy" in comparison to other banks like CIMB/UOB (to which I don't know how they came up with ridiculously scary CL )


With the Alliance Visa Infinite nerf - thinking if I should just cut it off, doesn't seem useful anymore... but then there's no other interesting card also with my relatively conservative spendings.

can cancel VI unless you are planning to keep for the lounge access, but be mindful of the annual fee waive requirement

otherwise the VCC is a good replacement for continuing 8x TBP for ewallet and online spending
