I feel that if it’s 2+1 for every calendar year, they don’t have to mention it’s for first year only…

A bit misleading.

Oh no. e-wallet and online no more TBP. bangwall.gif
Maybe just 1x considered as domestic for VI.

For VI
1) Lounge access only for 120k per annum spending, which you need to spend 12k per month 😂
2) No more waiver of rm438 annual fee
3) domestic 1x tbp, overseas 10x

Ok, time to cut, will keep vcc only

ehhh... just want to summit application as last week said.
Suddenly see all this. So still worth to get it?
VI and VS no more annual fee waive?

Ok just live chat them
1) spent below 120k per annum, 2+1 lounge as usual, above 120k become unlimited.
2) annual fee waiver need to request

Conclusion: Can still keep as lounge card, if able to waive annual fee, so as per suggestion above, dont spend during annual fee month, if can't waive just cancel.

for earning TBP VI no longer useful

still acceptable if you want to use as lounge card.... but tbh there's probably better choices for lounge cards out there

conclusion, keep this card in drawer.
when wanted to travel can use the lounge 2+1 visit.

if annual fee charged, call to waive, if not able to waive, cancel the card.

need minimum annual spent for annual fee waiver iinm, which defeats the purpose anyway since your spending no longer provide any benefit unless you spend overseas

My next cycle will be april 26, so for the mean time i will just observe and see, if they nerfed vcc also then goodbye for alliance

VCC really good, as in the one time card number, worry free about fraud

VCC should be safe for now since they specifically mentioned it, otherwise it will get the same nerf as VP

Virtual Card still carries the same benefits as VI's past? But then again, only 3k online and 3k ewallet .... (it's better than none)

Will still keep my Alliance VI and use for my overseas trx although not frequent, unless the AF cannot be waived next year.

still giving 1miles per RM1.50, AMBank enrich VI downgraded to RM2/miles.

My VI annual fee will charge on 27 July & i believe it will be waive cause I already spent more than rm12k, also the revision only effective on 1st Aug.

So my plan is to keep it till July 2026 then only terminate the card. At the same time i still able to enjoy 2+1 lounge and keep the TBP cause i don plan to travel anytime soon although there's 20% bonus enrich now blush.gif

Also, I'm looking for replacement card and i see the best alternative will be VCC cause it suite my spending habits. (3k+3k)

Questions:
1. My plan above sounds good? did i miss out anything?
2. TBP will be accumulated if I take the VCC? meaning if later i terminate VI and those points will be transfer to VCC right?
3. Any place got signup offer for VCC ? free luggage or etc. Saw their TnG campaign but i don think i can hit the target cause eWallet top-ups are not considered as eligible retail spend.

annual fee waiver only if spend more than 120k, not 12k.

tbp is shared across all alliance cards so no worries.

VCC is online only so the gifts are pretty limited.

I thought all the while need min spent for annual fee waiver? That's what I understood when I applied for my card early this year. First year free, subsequent years 12k min annual spent for waiver
