QUOTE(chocolatepallette @ Jul 3 2012, 10:46 AM) All the best to you in NTV7 FGR! never been running at BU before. Looking fwd running in microwave oven BU is a hot place to run because it doesn't have much greeneries especially when the race starts at 7:30AM. When there's no breeze to welcome you, it's like an microwave oven when you are speeding. The route also covers some part of residences, so be prepared to rub shoulders with the thousands of runners QUOTE(black_howling @ Jul 3 2012, 02:31 PM) me too going for FDR run this sunday!! haha. 7km.. i might recognize you with your twisted ankle. i think im goin to do badly for the run...twisted my ankle while driving...dont know how tat could happen... |

QUOTE(jack208 @ Jul 1 2012, 03:34 PM) Hmm.. if you can get the 410 for just RM50 more than the 210, I will strongly suggest you grab the 410. Unless you are fashion conscious and needed a slim looking watch to go on non-running days. When you are running, doesn't really matter if the GPS watch is slightly larger, right? The 410 is not that larger than 210 but the extra flexibility in the functionality will be worth your RM50. The FR610 pricing comes with the HRM and 1 yr warranty from local distributorChoi's 610 pricing is very good considering it would be around RM1200 retail. btw Choi is that with or without the HRM (heart-rate monitor) strap? Added on July 1, 2012, 3:37 pmthis might be helpful http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2010/10/quick-t...forerunner.html Added on July 1, 2012, 3:39 pmand if you looked at this comparison page, the 410 is only 0.2 cm thicker? My bet is with 410. http://www.gpscompared.net/garmin-forerunner-210-vs-410/ |

I have been using stability shoes for a while, started out with Asics GT2160 then to Brooks Adrenaline, NB 1225 then now just ran my first full marathon with my Asic Gel Evolution 5.
To treat myself, thinking of splurging on the big daddy of stability shoes, Asics Gel Kayano 18. Any runners here running with them? Is the reputation justified or overhyped. |

QUOTE(ChipZ @ Jul 4 2012, 12:30 AM) Heart rate monitor - yes it's a strap across ur chestQUOTE(grabulasa @ Jul 4 2012, 11:22 AM) I have been using stability shoes for a while, started out with Asics GT2160 then to Brooks Adrenaline, NB 1225 then now just ran my first full marathon with my Asic Gel Evolution 5. The best stability is yourself and you need to train for it.. shoe aint going to help much.. come to think of it my shoe journey.. so many kinds of stability, motion control, cushioning.. live up little to what they claim.. i don't feel that i gain more stability wearing a stability shoe.. To treat myself, thinking of splurging on the big daddy of stability shoes, Asics Gel Kayano 18. Any runners here running with them? Is the reputation justified or overhyped. I think comfortability and suiting your feet shape is number one priority over here |

QUOTE(fastreader @ Jul 4 2012, 07:31 PM) Had it straight after my long run, first time experience..it's also the first time i took my pureflow out for a 15K run, i normally use them for 5-8Ks while switching to my Adizero for longer than 10Ks so I'm still wondering what went wrong during that particular run...On the flip side, at least there's no swelling or bruises so shouldn't be too severe...Hopefully...
