ha! u! xD

I am typing now from my agony of post marathon pain zzz..
I do hope i can do sub 2:20 for my next seremban HM.. aim small xD
Chance is small as I have no break in between since PD triathlon sat, sun, then mon ~ fri (business trip to bkk), sat = shape night run, sunday Seremban HM..

Shape it's a saturday night run and Seremban HM will be the next morning, no idea how to recover for my next event.. don't think i will have enough time for recovery during my bangkok stay right after PD triathlon..

Hope this might answer your question.

Why Compression Wear ..
*
It's a website selling product.. I think I don't trust too much credibility on that..

I do think compression helps in recovery. (RICE?)
but performance gain during race might varies, I do have a compression shorts. I like it coz it has a lot of pockets and minimise chaffing. For short runs i still prefer my fluffy shorts haha..

Why I choose VFF. When that time I join the bootcamp, my sport shoes koyak. And that season is raining season where everyday rain. Sport shoes cannot dry so fast. And those member's and Sarge recommend Vff .. So I give it a try.
*
i can give you some tips running on vff if we ever meet.. I also used my new vff in scklm.. not exactly first time wearing it, i used it for hiking in gunung nuang, also did my tioman eco challenge once.. both >6hours event..

first you would need to run in barefoot (find a grass field or a smooth (just repaved) road to practice. I cant stress enough to adapt in minimalist we need to train our leg muscle to get used to it.. I only wore my vff for my first 10k race after 3 months of training.

Also make sure it's the right size (too big will cause too much internal movement (did you train with socks or without?) now i wear them with socks but i train without one.

Blister is quite normal.. make sure if wash them clean if you are poking them out

QUOTE(grabulasa @ Jul 4 2012, 11:22 AM)
I have been using stability shoes for a while, started out with Asics GT2160 then to Brooks Adrenaline, NB 1225 then now just ran my first full marathon with my Asic Gel Evolution 5.

To treat myself, thinking of splurging on the big daddy of stability shoes, Asics Gel Kayano 18. Any runners here running with them? Is the reputation justified or overhyped.
*
The best stability is yourself and you need to train for it.. shoe aint going to help much.. come to think of it my shoe journey.. so many kinds of stability, motion control, cushioning.. live up little to what they claim.. i don't feel that i gain more stability wearing a stability shoe..

I think comfortability and suiting your feet shape is number one priority over here
