just ignore the operator... u can go collect it anytime after the installation is complete.once ur speed has change to 4mbps thn it means everything is completed and their system has already updated ur acc.so u can go collect it anytime when u free.
i collect mine on the next day after i notice my speed has change to 4mbps.

changed to 4mbps last month. Got my bill few days ago, TM charged me monthly rental RM25 leh. Called TM and they ask me deduct the RM25 when paying my bill. TM needs max. 3 months time to roll back the rebate thingy

I recently upgraded from 2MB normal package to 4MB Blockbuster package.
Previous 2MB, I was given the TPLINK modem(single port) and aztech cordless phone.
For 4MB BlockBuster, I'm only given the D-Link wireless modem by the installer. The installer said the cordless phone is not applicable for upgrade package.

Can someone confirm this matter? whether the free cordless is suppose to come free for new installation or applies to upgrade as well?

Just got my cordless phone from tmpoint. Just need to bring the installation form. I upgrade from combo to bb deal.

Cordless phone only applies for the new application as well FIRST TIME upgrade...

The installer also told me the samething,
But what i understand from the website, seem like we met the term and condistion 3, please clarify me if i have wrong

1)■Cordless Phone is applicable for new subscription & upgrading to higher speed only.
2)■Customer is entitled for new Cordless Phone upon upgrading speed from other services to Broadband & Phone package.
3)■Customer is entitled for Cordless Phone when migrating to a higher speed.

my place really small, but quite many ppl here, only 40km away from Brunei border to Bandar Seri Begawan by car, there's only one TM branch, and it's less than 3km "road length" to go there, I've no idea where is the exchange, going to town center from my house surely less than 3km, lol

search Pekan Limbang to see how small it is, lol

very unlikely 4mbps will come to such small rural area, but TM told me by email will be available in end of Nov,

so,at least, there's a little hope

Based from all 3 the conditions above, those that upgrade from streamyx basic 1 or 2 MB to BB package are eligible to get cordless phone.

I will call TM later to confirm.

Cable fault expect slow down

Just got the installer came over my place yesterday to check my line, everything is fine as according to the installer.

As per their technician said, everything is ok just the line attenuation is high about 53 thus they cannot set me to 4MB right away but have to report back to TM let them do something on their exchange before can let me have 4MB.

Anyone face this kind of problem before? What should I do? Continue making call to 100 and rush them to get thing done or wait patiently?

Speedtest

I've upgraded from 1MB to 4MB last monday, and they didn't give me any free modem.
Wednesday the installer calls to confirm my upgrade, but til nw Im stil using 1MB speed but at their system Im already at 4MB. I keep trying to call the installer but he's not picking up my calls!

The modem is given to me at TM Point or by the installer?
Is it true that the installer have to come to my house to do the settings? or everything can be done outside?

any ppl got the upload to max 512kb?
wat is the adsl line lock to max uploadf for this streamyx 4mb package?

Hii everyone...
Just upgrade from 1mbps to 4mbps...(but the speed 4mbps not activate yet )
For your information my line before this is about 4.1KM from TM Exchanger...
And the ADSL Statistics is like below...



The technician said that my line is out of league and he said this is weird becoz my line still support 1mbps without dc...But today my snr is between 5-6 and he said for 4mbps the snr must be at least 17>....

After that he said that there is a new DSLAM near my house...not more than 1km...and he try to change my snr stat...

After 15 minutes, the SNR of my line goes to this...wahh...so happy...now waiting for people in KL to activated my 4mbps...hehehe...

Sat - A installer came to my house to check, he said SNR to low, they have to change the port.
Mon - Another B installer called me, but i not available and i told him my SNR is low, he seem like not aware this problem in my house
Tue - B installer come to my house and install successful for me. i ask him why different installer come to install, he said they work in different sub company.

What i guess is may be the A installer feel more task to do becasue SNR too low they have more procedure to do. Therefore B installer (different sub company) to pickup the job.

im already get the speed more than 1mbps...
but only cap at 2042 kbps at the ADSL statistics...
it is possible that just a matter of time i will cap to 4000kbps...
im afraid that i will stay at 2mb becoz the speed now 2mbps..

This might sound newbie

Using 4MB package and when playing online gaming...ping > 300.
The server I'm playing is outside Malaysia; Europe, USA etc.
If it's in China, Australia, Japan or Thailand...decent > 100.

Is there any other way to make the ping lower?
Getting a faster package won't do a thing correct?

is this why so sudden the port shows 2839kbps only
yesterday my modem router shows 3950kbps

anyway i am just upgraded to 4mbps.

supposed cant get, but the reps make a call to higher level ,

than walla today i get my 4mbps BB Deal!! and new wireless modem and cordless phone is claimable also.

2days ago i made a report to skmm , i tell them why most of my neighbour can get 4mbps but not me, and walla TM KL call me today to say that i will get my 4mbps..

what i did ;

1.) Report SKMM , but u have to confirm that most of your neighbour area got 4mbps BB Deal.
2.) Also begging at TMPoint to ask them to get for 4mbps package as the system just wont allow me (that was why the reps call higher level to approve my upgrade application . okay no money involve here .

just now i experience a low kbps at my port, is it related to what abg MX510's post.
i dont know.
