Pretty nice speeds and pings you've got there. I think it's because you're on fastpath or something. I am in interleave path though, but i received a better latency and SNR margin while i was in fastpath. I wonder why hmm

Hi, guys and gals. I am currently having issues downloading torrent using streamyx, seems to me that I can't event connect to any LT seeds or seeders even if the torrent is new and has few hundreds of seeders. In the past there was no problem downloading at 400+ kBps.
just wanna ask if anyone having problem downloading torrent using bitcomet or utorrent in Klang Valley. or did Streamyx really throttle torrent to that kind of extend that downloading using torrent is impossible.

Yesterday evening the TM technician came to my house and tested the SNR at 5.6 after they activate 4MB line. Too low to get approved.
Average was only 13-15 for my 2MB line. But look at what happen today. Perhaps TM can boost the SNR from their end? I will reapply for 4MB..The contractor came too early..
Mode: ADSL2+AnnexM Type: Fast Line Coding: Trellis On Status: No Defect Downstream Upstream SNR Margin (dB): 31.9 33.0 Attenuation (dB): 8.5 2.5 Output Power (dBm): -0.7 6.2 Attainable Rate (Kbps): 25548 2541 Rate (Kbps): 5117 509

Suddenly get a high SNR margin / Attenuation ?
My SNR Margin around 11dB-20dB
Attenuation around 40dB-50dB
Speed test that time, ping around 15 - 18 ms, but speed stuck at (+-) 2mb. But in the end of test, will boost to 4mb. No idea why?
I using 4mb line, but daily use almost few hour dc awhile. The copper line from pillar is already dark color. If I want to replace it, I should call tm or find 3rd party to re wire for me?

I just walked into tmpoint yesterday and today I got my 4mbps package installed and running. TM very fast and effcient these days. My only gripes is my ping looks the same as my old 1mbps package. Online games also seem to be the same speed. I have not try downloading stuff yet My ping is around 45-50ms Is this too slow? This post has been edited by idoblu: Sep 29 2011, 03:29 PM

I when to tm request upgrade that time, they still need send technician to come over check my SNR Margin / Attenuation before they let you apply the 4mb package.
Technician show me the value and briefly explain to me. But he test the speed at tm speedometer website. Never show ping.

Yesterday installer come to upgrade my line to 4M, said need 3 days to reflect the speed. I still can connect using my account that time with old speed. But after I back from work, the line can't connect already, signal still stable. I called TM, TM said within 14 days I must find installer. I called installer to check again, he said he busy with his schedule! Anyone facing such problem after upgrading??

TM said might be problem with DSLAM, but they can't check it now, because still within 14days. Installer said they don't have authority to open DSLAM. So...
