A TM promoter called me yesterday offering to upgrade 4MB. So, I apply online and will wait for the contractor to come to my house and do testing.

Yesterday evening the TM technician came to my house and tested the SNR at 5.6 after they activate 4MB line. Too low to get approved.

Average was only 13-15 for my 2MB line.
But look at what happen today.
Perhaps TM can boost the SNR from their end?
I will reapply for 4MB..The contractor came too early..

I recently upgraded from 2MB normal package to 4MB Blockbuster package.
Previous 2MB, I was given the TPLINK modem(single port) and aztech cordless phone.
For 4MB BlockBuster, I'm only given the D-Link wireless modem by the installer. The installer said the cordless phone is not applicable for upgrade package.

Can someone confirm this matter? whether the free cordless is suppose to come free for new installation or applies to upgrade as well?

Based from all 3 the conditions above, those that upgrade from streamyx basic 1 or 2 MB to BB package are eligible to get cordless phone.

I will call TM later to confirm.

You can go to tmpoint and collect the free dect phone after your line has been upgraded.
I got mine last week eventhough the technician said that my package was not eligible.

Added on October 31, 2011, 10:32 amI got charge for Internet Package RM 157 for this month's bill. Called TM 100 and being informed that those extra charges are pro rated. Perhaps they charge me extra 110+47(4MB package) from the date of activation to 4MB. Only next month the internet bill will be RM140.
Anyone ever encounter such xtra charges for internet?

The rental rm 26.00 will be removed starting from 25/10.

Hi, just wanted to check if you guys ever being charged for RM 1 (Caj Bulanan) for streamyx combo as stated in ur bill?
I thought that the rental fee should be abolished once you subscribe to combo package...
If your bill is RM 0 (Caj Bulanan) then i will lodge a complain to TM.
