You can still use the existing phone line and streamyx service...
If you're moving within the same exchange, it's likely you still have a chance to use the old number...
But if you're moving to another place which use different exchange, you'll totally need to have a new phone number but with the old account. Another things, TM will charge RM50 (if i'm not mistaken) as a relocation charge plus RM30-RM50 line installation charge at your new home...

Just go to TMPOINT and fill the relocation of services form....

jealous of you guys, can apply 4mbps or unifi,

I've been waiting for more than 5 years,
the only hope is recently told by TM via email that my area will have 4mbps in end of November 2011,

but really unlikely IMO, so far my area no one has 4mbps

it's a small border town, but actually got many ppl here really need faster than 1mbps, demand should be high gua


last week I went to Bandar Seri Begawan at JPMC, use their public WiFi on my Optimus 2x, omg both download and upload speed burst to 20mbps, so this is the feeling to use UniFi VIP 20...

if i didn't saw the blockbuster package and go to TM and apply the 4Mbps
i also dn't know my area have 4Mbps
u gotta go to different TM to try apply it and yes...different TM shop will give u different answer
if you're in small town, try travel to city's TM..there must be a few there, try all of it if needed

this might be true.. because what happened is that my friend works
at TM as a planner for streamyx, and he told me that 4MB is available..

once i went to TM Point to check, the counter guy said no 2MB or 4MB available,
and i even tried calling 100 just to double confirm.. operator also says no.

when i called back my friend, he said he did check and it should be ok..
so now my friend would ask his colleague to go ahead with upgrade order
all the way from KL (i'm in Melaka).. let's just see how it goes later.

actually 4Mbps can be available everywhere as long as u fulfill the requirement which is within XKM from the exchange
if u fulfill it....4Mbps is possible
they told u not possible cuz they're lazy to go and run test and change the modulation for u
they want to do it easily by just go to your home and directly upgrade(this is what they want)
if upgrade to 4Mbps, they would have to go upgrade to 2Mbps 1st and change modulation to ADSL2+
and they will monitor and test, if no problem thn only they officially upgrade u
so alot of hassle for those lazy guys

I've upgraded to 4mbps bb deal, when can I get the free cordless phone? Tm installer said just go to tmpoint with the installation completion form, while the 100 operator said need to wait for the 1st bill.

Two weeks from installation date. Actually they need to wait for your call plan (unlimited local calls) to appear in their system and the effective start date, which is usually the next billing date. That's why they told you to come after you've received the next bill. Only then can they give you the phone. But usually after two weeks, everything will be in their system. I came to collect mine after just one week.
