Hi guys, just wonder any 4MB user in Kuching @ Poh Kwong Park area? And how is the performance? I'm going to move to that area soon and I'm thinking to upgrade my current 1MB to 4MB, but would to heard from user from that area 1st before make my move (if there is any).

Hi guys, I just been to my nearest TM point ask about 4MB. Darn they said my not available for 4MB and not even for 2MB.

Btw, below is the info from my modem. I think my line at least can support up to 2MB right?

Am with 1MB package since my 1st apply til now, and enjoying 1.5MB speed (which about 180-200kbps all these time, I know I'm getting extra from TM ). But they capped me back to exactly 1MB after their July - Aug worldwide maintenance.

And am going to move to new area soon, thus I planned to upgrade to 4MB by 1 shot. First email they E-Customer service and they return me a call, ask me to approach to the nearest TM point. And I did that today but with a disappointment.

Just got the installer came over my place yesterday to check my line, everything is fine as according to the installer.

As per their technician said, everything is ok just the line attenuation is high about 53 thus they cannot set me to 4MB right away but have to report back to TM let them do something on their exchange before can let me have 4MB.

Anyone face this kind of problem before? What should I do? Continue making call to 100 and rush them to get thing done or wait patiently?

Finally gotten my 4MB line and account been activated within 2hrs time. So far so good, technician come over my place and capped my speed at 5120kbps, download speed is 532KB/s constant with 52.xx IP.
