I would think that the bank will not waste their manpower to review one by one. The computer system should do all the jobs and I don't think the system will make it that complicated. The easiest way to filter out is based on sms time entry and the cardholder meets the eligible criteria.
Maybe the staff will just double confirm the result.

Usual card issuers' processes in selecting winners: -
1) End of contest.
2) Based upon T&Cs, a pool of possbile winners selected
3) Check card history; ie. payment records; Check other T&Cs (ie. winner must not be family members etc etc etc
4) Final selection; winners are selected in the presence of Bank's Internal Auditor.

Moral of the story..............If you are lucky, you will get it. If you are not, too bad

No, at least not for me. 5 weeks after submitting documents, I'm still in processing status. According to their CS, my docs are OK, just the CC dept have not decided whether want to approve me or not. :w

Can anyone kindly comment/feedback about Citibank's Shell Gold Card and AirAsia Gold MasterCard?

Sorry. Did not ask them about that. Anyway, i doubt they know it. Someone called them last week and was told he must submit his income document which is not exactly true. At least not to those few who managed to get World MasterCard/VISA Infinite simply by giving them their HSBC credit card as a reference and no income document.

my dad also got ask them is it hsbc card holder surely can get approve but the girl tell my dad they still need to check by damansara branch and no guarantee one le..my dad say they can easily find out whether you are really earn big income yearly or not by looking the home loan,HP and credit give by banks wo.. not sure correct or not lo..haha

my brother also got hsbc plat card and apply also not kena reject wo... his record is clean one also le..

That is a very good rate for the alliance debit card. Too bad the credit card's rates are crap. Though to be fair, I have not used them for overseas transactions lately. Maybe they fixed something?

yes, uob lady's platinum is platinum card. it is really useable for women in shopping if you need special promotion in lady's products. Men don't get it.

Hi,

Recently I made a RM2k+ swipe for my mom's medical bill due to emergency, however I can only pay back at most extra RM500 per month. Previously I had never used my CC for other than petrol, thus I manage to pay in full each month. My question is:

1) Will it effect my CCRIS record?Or is it as long as I pay more than the minimum amount each month, my CCRIS will still be "0"?I'm not very clear on how CCRIS works. Hopefully someone could explain it. Thanks in advance.

Added on September 30, 2010, 8:01 amAs I had mentioned before, the logic behind this is, if you are truly a high income earner, your expenditures will not be low. If you want guaranteed approval, your CRIS should show a consistent minimum over RM10K outflow per month over the past year. This would include HL, HP, CC repayments etc. If you are the exception to the rule, then income or strong financial documents would be required. So don't embarrass yourself if you do not meet the requirements. Good luck

Otherwise, can consider doing a BT as the interest will be cheaper. And no, it will not affect your CRIS as long as the minumum is paid every month. Good luck & God Bless

Finally someone response to my quest. Thx for ur response, Omisae0! I move ard by using car actually. Currently I am using SCB Al-Saadiq Debit MasterCard which gives me 5% on retail/pharmaceutical and 7% rebate on fuel, these promo gonna end in Dec. So I think prob I don't need the Shell Card at the moment. As for planes, I got to book for my bro as he fly often but within the state itself. I plan to apply for Shell Card after my SCB Debit Master promo end tis Dec, while for AirAsia I'm stil thinking. Nt sure if I wanna get two cards from the same bank. And there is no Citibank at my place so must pay thru GIRO.
