Guys , Hope I can get some advise and tips here.
How come I can get smaller but my weight doesn't drop that much ?? I used to wear size 42 but now I'm wearing size 38 but my weight stayed almost the same which is around 95 to 100kg , my height is around 175-180. My work out plan is 15mins of Cross Trainer 30-45 mins of intense treadmill 30-45 mins of doing weights . My arms got toned abit but my tummy still round . Diet still undecided but I avoid sugar / carbs. Any tips to lose the round tummy ? |

QUOTE(ghoss @ Oct 12 2010, 09:54 PM) Guys , Hope I can get some advise and tips here. How long have u been working out mate? How come I can get smaller but my weight doesn't drop that much ?? U see, when u do weight training, dont just go for biceps like what many wannabes in the gym do! Sure, u might get nice lean biceps, but the rest of your body is gonna be toufu. AVOIDING excessive carbs and sugar is a good start, but its definitely not gonna help u in the long run. Start reading back the previous posts, some suggestions on how to start eating healthy have been shared by the forummers here mate..cheers |

I doubt this'll have a positive long term effect. Why not eat what you want and exercise to burn it off? |

QUOTE(ghoss @ Oct 13 2010, 03:54 PM) On & Off , now starting to get a little more serious as I changed my working hours, Weight train full body. Arms, chest, back, legs...the full circuit.Should I focus more on my tummy ?? Thanks for the feedback ~ It'll bring you results faster. Don't focus on a single bodypart. Reminds me of the guy who comes into gym and does a thousand situps. It'll just give you sore abs. |

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Oct 13 2010, 06:14 PM) Weight train full body. Arms, chest, back, legs...the full circuit. Spot on. No use doing 50000000 sit ups in the gym if you're not gonna increase your metabolism in the long run. It'll bring you results faster. Don't focus on a single bodypart. Reminds me of the guy who comes into gym and does a thousand situps. It'll just give you sore abs. Do full circuits, and train your entire body instead of focusing on any single part. One good thing I realised about abdominal muscles is their ability to recover very fast, which means u can work on them everyday if you're not lazy. Also, its not just about lying flat and going up and down, remember, even sit ups have proper techniques, so I suggest doing some research on the web. Here's a good start, hope it helps some of u like it did for me.. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/bbinfo.php...WorkoutPrograms |

I doubt you're smearing 100 grams of peanut butter on your bread so by my estimates on a 3 meal per day routine, it's fine. Unless you're underweight and my estimate for your calorie break even point is off, in which case you shouldn't be dieting anyway.
Anyways, without knowing any specifics, this is the best answer I can come up with. |
