Guys , Hope I can get some advise and tips here.

How come I can get smaller but my weight doesn't drop that much ??

I used to wear size 42 but now I'm wearing size 38 but my weight stayed almost the same which is around 95 to 100kg , my height is around 175-180.

My work out plan is

15mins of Cross Trainer
30-45 mins of intense treadmill
30-45 mins of doing weights .

My arms got toned abit but my tummy still round .

Diet still undecided but I avoid sugar / carbs.

Any tips to lose the round tummy ?

How long have u been working out mate?
First thing first, you're definitely loosing fat and the weight you're gaining back is muscle, so its balancing out. U see, when u do weight training, dont just go for biceps like what many wannabes in the gym do! Sure, u might get nice lean biceps, but the rest of your body is gonna be toufu.
AVOIDING excessive carbs and sugar is a good start, but its definitely not gonna help u in the long run. Start reading back the previous posts, some suggestions on how to start eating healthy have been shared by the forummers here mate..cheers

On & Off , now starting to get a little more serious as I changed my working hours,

Should I focus more on my tummy ??

Thanks for the feedback ~

ok, i have a question here where moderator have close my topic and bring me to this thread. I am wondering, if i am taking a meal per day, at night, having myself milo ice or coffee ice..i am wondering, drinking ice coffee, milo coffee oftenly but less eating..do the dieting still works?LOL

Best to separate your meal than have only 1 meal a day.

Like a saying
Breakfast eat like a king,
Lunch eat like a peasant,
Dinner eat like a beggar laugh.gif

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Oct 13 2010, 06:14 PM)
Weight train full body. Arms, chest, back, legs...the full circuit.
It'll bring you results faster. Don't focus on a single bodypart.

Reminds me of the guy who comes into gym and does a thousand situps. It'll just give you sore abs.
*
Thanks , do you have any easy routines or tips that I can follow ?? notworthy.gif

I'd suggest either Optimum Nutrition, or If you're willing to spend a bit more, go for Nitrotech Hardcore ProSeries. There are a few people I usually deal with from LYN itself, wayyy cheaper than how much they're selling it for in GNC

Thanks a lot notworthy.gif
Where to get ON ?? Health supplements store ??

Yesterday I ate 3 half boiled eggs + a few wholemeal bread + 1 quater of chicken breast after work, feels so good thumbup.gif

Don't eat a low calorie diet. It doesn't work. It will make you tired and lose muscles instead body fats.
With your kind of body fat levels, you should eat a hi calorie, hi protein, hi fat and very low carb diet.
You need to turn your body into using body fat as energy instead of sugar (carbohydrate).

DO NOT eat starchy carb food such as bread, noodle, rice, potato and etc. Carb will make you fat.

Can I eat wholemeal bread for breakfast ? Just a few piece in the morning as it's hard for me to get any other food.

I want ask something,

I run 8km per hour speed for 3 minute
9km per hour speed for 3 minute
10km per hour speed for 4 minute
8km per hour speed for 3 minute
9km per hour speed for 3 minute
10km per hour speed for 4 minute

does this is HIIT?
Thank you for reply me.
*
No , cos you're just gradually increasing the speed.

My version of HIIT is ,
6km/h for 1min
13km/h for 1min

keep repeat for a few reps. Sometimes I have to cool down a 1.5 to 2 mins due to fatigue later on.

QUOTE(sweet_pez @ Oct 19 2010, 11:29 AM)
there's actually this other option of bread. it's called "adventist" and they used to sell it in Cold Storage. These days me and my family buy it from an organic shop in Subang. It is low in gluten and very high in fibre. kinda expensive though... RM6+ for 1 loaf (as big as Gardenia loafs).
Owwwhhh how much did u manage to kick off after 6 months???

*
Yea , I like that bread but cost too much sweat.gif
Maybe I should get it in the hospital since it's in my place.

QUOTE(4Rings @ Oct 19 2010, 02:20 PM)
Eat 4-5 whole eggs plus 2 tablespoon of good oil instead of bread.
Don't avoid oily stuff just ignore carb. Learn not to eat bread. Take plenty of green leafy veges if you want to lose fats fast.
Eat 5 protein meals a day plus plenty of good fats. Take protein supplements if you must.
*
Good oil = Olive oil ?

soft boil or hard boil ?? Cos I can't cook in the kitchen at the moment

Just finish my gym yesterday and it never feel soooo good.
Felt like I'm addicted to working out sweat.gif

Does this sounds good ?

Mon - Light Cardio / Weights
Tues - High Cardio
Wed - Rest
Thurs - Light Cardio / Weights
Fri - High Cardio
Sat & Sun - Rest

ohmy.gif you eat it too! i can hardly find anyone else who does...! Where else can you find it? Cold Storage no longer bring in the product cry.gif the only place we can find it is in the organic shop.

Due to the short expiry date, my family usually keep the bread in the freezer. It can lasts us 2 weeks from the manufacturing date. Whenever we want to eat it, just steam few slices. Used to this bread now but I only take the ones in green packaging tongue.gif dislike the red one.
faceless>> i don't believe in the bloodtype diet thingy...

Not necessarily mate. I started off without knowing ANYTHING and joined an oldskool bodybuilding gym, no aircond or hot chics in tight clothes. Lucky for me, the trainer there was a competiting bodybuilder and had good knowledge on what to and not to do. The people coming there were also MOSTLY male, all huge buff dudes who never hesitated to give advice whenever I asked. If you're a girl especially, a well renowned gym with good trainers would be helpful, just dont get conned to pay for unnecessary services. Most importantly, dont feel ashamed to ask if u need advice or help, u've got nothing to loose and everything to gain. Looking at the equipments for the first time would definitely be confusing, so ASK and dont ASSUME, remember that using them properly is very important to see positive results..cheers!

nod.gif True mate,

Personal trainer is only useful if you're going to compete in competition , else it doesn't have much difference. thumbup.gif

Just want to share some tips that I'm using to lose weight ,

The main thing to do is control what you eat , it doesn't matter how hard you trained if you eat the wrong stuff might as well you don't train.

From the last week , I'm avoiding/eating less carbs especially rice. What I'm having for lunch is 2 types of vegetables and 1 type of meat (fish/chicken) non deep fried. Less/none sweet stuff. Eat more fruits. Another tips is to eat slowly and chew your food throughly , you can do this by putting down your spoons / fork down after a few mouth so that you can take your time.

As for training I increase my weight gradually after 5 reps than straight away with the heavy ones. Like 20kg-25kg-30k.
This way, I don't feel too sore at the end of the day and I can work out more often than what I'm used to as normally I will be to sore the next few days to go to the gym.

Finally , you don't get fat in 1 day so don't expect to be slimmer in 1 day as well. Make it a habit and you can see difference.

Orange90,
Normally HIIT will wear you out in 15mins , else you're not sprinting to the max.

Kurtkob78,
I think your leg will tone up and be firm instead of getting bulky unless you do weights.
