this is true, my 5850 loads 100% at 47ºC, 49ºC tops @ 900MHz Core 1150MHz Memory. gpu temps easily dealt with, most important for me is vrm temps. those buggers are hard to cool down.
what software can i use to monitor vrm temp? using gpu-z, got 3 temp..but not sure which is which..mind to advice?
When do you people think that HD5870 price drop significantly?? Maybe around RM9XX or RM10XX ?? Planning to get it over GTX460 .. I need to upgrade my case as well to fit HD5870.. AND Is it possible to feed HD5870 with Acbel E2 510W?
haha wait till 6000 series comes out n u need more power than that 2 fire up the monster by at least 600W
and mini factor pc as well, some say that zacate gpu will be equivalent to hd5450..maybe after this no more low-end gpu market anymore. at 18w, it is awesome some zecate apu benchmark

Guys, I'm having this Radeon 4200 onboard card on a AMD 790 chipset motherboard.
It has one HDMI and DVI which according to the manual shares the same input so obviously I cannot have dual monitor configuration.
BUT can I have clone monitor configuration if I have 2 similar monitors plugged one into HDMI, one into DVI ?
no you can't. only 1 output can be active at a time. if both are plugged in, i believe only the first one will be detected. This is the same for all onboard graphics because they only have a single clock generator for dvi/hdmi/vga signalling.
