Hi guys, need some help here. My gc Sapphire 4850 toxic is showing some lines n weird character in the P.O.S.T. and i cant login into the window (is this artifact?).
Can i take it to RMA? (and also, theres a screw which lock d gc hsf to d card is broken(patah) and can i still take it to RMA)?
and what is the charges fee for RMA? (2nd yr)

and this is d right place i need to go for RMA right?

Yes, but cant actually believe the review as their country temp. is cooler than us malaysia...but from one review, the load hit 74C (toxic) while reference hit 77C..not much diff but d fan noise is much better...
and from overclock review, d load hit max 50C under 100% fan speed lolz...
so it will be much better if got actual temp from lyn forumer

If rma a gc which had artifact badly, mostly it will successfully rma? will they reject the rma ground by stating that there are dmg on other area coz by user o so n so?
now deciding whether to grab another 4850 toxic to replace the screw of my current artifact-ed gc n then rma it, but afraid that it will be rejected and will waste on purchasing another same gc.
Also, will they use excuses such as ur warranty has over(drag my rma process?)..since my left 2 mth warranty even though i send them now?

i hope the 6850 wont be more than 1k if possible... ...if not, i'll go bac to opt for 5850...

It seems like the driver 257.15 has physx enable for ati cards Ati+Physx (nvidia driver 257.15)

it is reported tat this driver firmware is d latest driver that the nvidia guys accidentally enable physx with Ati card
u can get this driver at Nvidia driver, juz scroll down till u find 257.15.
if im not mistaken, if u dl this 257.15 off from the official website, it has already been replaced with a 2nd release tat has fix tat bug...

not all nvidia driver can be used for ati + physx..

they wont, they buy d company, they make it only playable with their gc only...it's nvidia marketing strategy
the only way for ati user to use physx is by crook ...

Yah, tats y it called bugged ...lucky got ppl in this world upload d bugged driver...n nvidia damn fast re-release another driver to replace it...
strongly agree ..its a win win situation for ati, nvidia and consumer , in my personal opinion.

if kenot use physx, juz migrate to green lor..and sell off ur 5870 :-P
