Yes. There will be a price drop of all GPU sooner or later.
Geforce GTX460 have the performance of Radeon HD5830 - Radeon HD5850 but with extreme cheap price tag.
Most reviews show that Geforce GTX460 is weaker on 2560x1440/2560x1600 resolution compared to Radeon HD5830 and Radeon HD5850. However, I don't think there's a lot of people with such big resolution yet.

Not true. Geforce GTX470 pawns Geforce GTX460(OC) for sure. Because Geforce GTX470 is stronger than Radeon HD5850 already.

I want to ask where got sell Palit Geforce GTX470(LOL, in ATi/AMD Thread)? Cycom got no stock until next Wednesday. Sad. Sad.
Since Cycom can offer RM 1128 for Palit Geforce GTX470, I guess Palit Geforce GTX460 will be around RM 690(or something like that)?

If not mistaken, that's not CCC 10.6 WHQL(last month). This month is CCC 10.7 WHQL.

You got extra FPS in the games(more than that of the WHQL's) and you also got higher scores in benchmarks. brows.gif brows.gif
In addition, sometime, it can be even stabler than the WHQL version. drool.gif

I hope they will produce good driver after all. But, I won't give such a high hope on them(ATi/Nvidia Driver Team should be fired).

Geforce GTX465 and Geforce GTX460 is overall weaker than the Radeon HD5850.
Geforce GTX470 is just like 5-10% better than a Radeon HD5850.
I don't see a point you change to Geforce GTX460 or Geforce GTX465. It's like a downgrade. doh.gif doh.gif

I am not interested on this CCC 10.7 WHQL. There's even CCC 10.8 Beta 5 and CCC 10.7 OGL ES2 around officially.
I am waiting for TwL Modded Driver(latest driver based) instead. tongue.gif tongue.gif

I installed and love the Modded CCC + Driver from TwL and didn't use CCC(after 10.4) to do the OC. Because it'll stuck at very high clock speeds and causing higher temperature. mad.gif vmad.gif
So, I use the almighty MSI Afterburner. thumbup.gif
