So far the only Honda City Mugen RR kit I've seen belongs to one of the guys in the 2009NHC FBFC.
For BK, most of us are comfortable with the Modulo (albeit modded) and a handful of the Air Master

Yea, the guys in TC have great mods indeed. Guess we've got to wait awhile until more aftermarket parts comes out for the NHC.

Why RON95? Simple. It's cheaper. Mileage, similar to the RON97. Power? I seldom drive hard, so I can't tell if the difference is substantial.

tried ron97 on my city idsi. i dun feel significant difference. so jz stick to ron95. save $$

i all the time stick to ESSO RON95. Choose ESSO coz can gain point and redeem for petrol. Most worth.

However, last week tried BHP RON95, significantly more powerful and better pick up.. BHP petrol indeed has good quality. Havent reached end of the tank yet.. will update how good is its FC.

Decided to pump .. but full tank only 32liter .....

Guess there is another 10 more liter .

Weird Honda decided to let the spare tank to be a massive 10 liter.

Yah weird that why normally I will try to drive around 100km more before pumping in. Dont need to waste my time keep going to the petrol station..

Anyone tested with difference petrol in their CITY? Like Vios I heard that pumping ESSO can save more. Is that true?

i pump ron99, ron97 and ron95, but cant feel much different on the power... mayb our nhc still new?

RON99? Where can you get that? Octane Booster perhaps? Honestly, you can't really feel a difference with the type of fuel.. our engine isn't a high-performance one like say the K20A.

On the "emergency tank" holding up to 9 / 10 litres when the light bleeps on, well that's something we want to know too. Maybe when we (HC3) head down for our HM Plant visit we'll ask them about it. I've no complains though, I'm tuned to filling up my car at RM60 @ 33.33l so I roughly know when that happens

According to the car's manual (yeah i gone through it), NHC can support petrol up to RON91.

According to my friend (car enthusiast), different RON means difference ratio of fuel compression and burning. Higher RON means higher compression means when burned at same amount of unit will give out more burst (power). But to burn higher RON petrol, you will need more power engine.

According to NHC's manual, the car will compensate the engine when it detected less than RON94 (or is it RON91? forgot). So anything above, it will burn at same performance. Meaning RON95 or RON97 also the engine will perform the same thing. The extra burst from RON97 will only be wasted.

This is what I understand from reading the manual and checking friends. Not sure if it is correct but for now it's RON95 for my car.

tested with NHC.

Ron95 (petronas) give me more mileage for city driving (average 17km/l, 60-80km/h) and Ron97 (shell) give me more power and mileage for highway driving (average 18km/l, 90-110km/h).

wow...city driving can get 17km/l...really not that easy leh. Unless you can constantly drive at 60-80km/h and don't shift gear much.

my FC for city drive sucks, maybe because the road back to my housing area is uphill and have lots of bumps ...

To be honest, no. Cause the 1st service is just checking and some balancing and alignment work. 2nd service is where all the oil change comes in. So yeah. Hopefully the 2nd service helps.

2k rpm at 100km/h how can consider guzzling petrol? Most cars especially the local cars (auto also) will go at 3k rpm at 100km/h leh....

actually, at 100km/h it's 2.1k rpm.

The fuel calculations is not accurate. Take it like a grain of salt.

After petrol meter reach half-way mark, it goes down very fast. Normal for most cars. In fact a all the cars I have drove have this kind of issue. Maybe it's the way fuel meters are designed.

In the end of the day, it depends on your own calculations of km/liter. Go to http://hc3msia.com/index.php and check the FC posted there.

Yup. The remaining fuel calculation is actually not accurate at all. Unfortunately, one of the most accurate remaining fuel thingy is Toyota Camry '07 after the facelifted version.

But from all that I've read thus far (e.g. LYN and Paultan.org), the Shell V-Power is still rated at RON97 but with some Fuel Friction Modifier additive and perhaps other stuff which makes the fuel of higher quality (prolly like a RON99). That's about it. Correct me if I'm wrong too

Hi, Sorry i not sure how much and where u can get from KL. In penang we are buy from cash and carry accesories shop. the LED ring cost RM16 only. We fix our self which is priceless.. hehe

That price is reasonable. Wonder how difficult to have it installed and does the light goes off after the ignition is started or door is closed?

if not mistaken, the light tap into the door/lamp light. If door open then light will be on and turn on ignition it will be off. Same like if you had the illuminated side step.

yes.. actually i tap the wire to the socket which using for illuminated side step use. While you unclock the car, the light will on... same function with room light. when open door it on... and when ignition is started or door is closed it will off... it follow exatly same as your room light function. Abubin is right... same as illuminated side step

tinting is a must of cos ..

then go to security stuff ... thats very important - locktech

then go for minor accessories - door visor etc .

or u can go for heavier mod - skirting / sport rim

City drive with perpetual jam? e.g. Jalan Ampang @ Rush Hour? I can get about 200km
Normal City drive with the occasional jam etc? About 250km

not reli for all the SC tinted is cheat, cos i get tinted v-kool elite for front and rear screen, v-kool 70 for all the side screen for only rm800...
i have called to v-kool malaysia (klang branch) and ask for the same thing, they quote me RM2600 for all the above
so it is reli depends... btw, my SA is from jalan 222 PJ.

he say they give wat voucher but charge u higher,so end up no discount 1.is just a tactic..
by the way my deal no so good hor i think,if compare others,i saw most get 500 rebate and 500 tinted voucher.

actually it depends on what discount voucher they give u.
if branded 1, you can always call to the tinted brand HQ and ask for the price w/o telling them any voucher, then you can roughly know the price.

it should be ok for +- 400km. but better it get serviced asap.

1k service shouldnt be anything, just normal oil and engine checking only i guess. but remember check the car alignment and balancing properly cos in the first 3k service, you can get free alignment and balancing checking + fixing in honda sc. Or else, you need to pay rm70 for that

You have to changed your driving pattern on the new NHC. It is DBW and not cable throttle.

Hmm.. your ECU will adapted to your driving style. So try to maintain a constant when picking up then your FC will improve.

For me.. I still adapting to light foot driving but in vein.. hehe.. full tank only 390km.. hehe..
