The only external mod I'm interested in is the RIMS. Still can't get the one though. All are quite pricey.

It's okay, mate. Just exchanging opinion. I thought it as well depends on the type of rims used?
Still checking over my FC. May be a mistake. I wish.

when i reach 100 km/h is it normal rpm meter at 2k? For highway running..

I feel like my nhc guzzling fuel..

I use shell ron95..

My mileage not reach 1k yet..

Is there any possible my nhc fc will be better 1st service?
*
To be honest, no. Cause the 1st service is just checking and some balancing and alignment work. 2nd service is where all the oil change comes in. So yeah. Hopefully the 2nd service helps.

Yup. The remaining fuel calculation is actually not accurate at all. Unfortunately, one of the most accurate remaining fuel thingy is Toyota Camry '07 after the facelifted version.

thats a massive improvement right compared to ur previous FC of like ... full tank 270km ?

Still same traffic routine for this half tank 210km ?
*
Well, more of less the same. But included a few trip of LDP highway. During this tank of fuel, I really tried not to downshift my gears when I'm already in my 5th gear. I used to do that a lot in order to achieve a fast acceleration.
Well, light foot really helps, I guess.

Whoa..what have you been driving previously. A tank?
That's decent FC for 1/2 tank. I'm able to hit 250 for 1/2 tank, but a little ease of the throttle though smile.gif
*
One thing for sure, changing from 4G CITY to the current NHC is hard thing to do. The difference in gearbox tends to make you want to rev it more in this new CITY. Since the new city is a revable (elastic revving) instead of non-elastic revving gearbox (which the RPM will not drop until u let go of the accelerator) of the previous 4G.

Bro .. how u downshift when ur already in 5th ? care to explain

sorry . noob here

whistling.gif
*
Not sure whether my term used was right. But when you're already in ur 5th and u stepped ur accelerator deep to a extend, it will automatically downshift ur gear to 3rd, and causes (of cuz) the rev to be higher. And higher rev means heavy foot, indirectly means bad fuel consumption. ''S'' spec don't have paddle shifter.

Yes, Phil. I got that problem too. When I pump my tire pressure for the first time. The machine can't even detect. But Honda said it's normal during the 1st time.

Sorry to hear that, buddy.

IMO, sometimes it's not about the security installed, it's all luck. But of course, installed security does give you a better peace mind.

Update for all:

During my previous fuel refill, I changed my driving style of high revving, and clocked total of 330km the moment the refill indicator lighted on. Well, we shall see how this round of fuel perform, and hopefully the ECU is changing according to my new driving style. Will update all of you soon smile.gif

You can go back to Service Centre and inform them about the high rev during idle.. they will adjust for u..

Anyway eventhough your rev is high and 90% city drive..

OMG 390km is so  much man..

Mine is 360-380km in city drive..
*
Yup! Probably the timing belt.

If u plan to buy 2008 City, I think u better top up abit and buy the 09 NHC. New car mah and new gen of City.  biggrin.gif
*
True. Top up a bit to get a new look and new generation of City. But seriously, for those that drove both 4G and 5G, what do you think in terms of comfort and power? For me, 4G feels more powerful and in terms of comfort, 5G beats 4G hands down.

Dude.. your's is same as me.. hehe.. I used to be heavy footed.. Actually if i heavy footed also never been under 320km per tank before.. so was wondering how some people drive that get under that 300km per tank..

REVving 5k rpm most of the time?
*
Idling for a long period and mostly short distance drive does affect it as well.

Sure boh? Still got laa..maybe a little mellow, but still got la.. haha!

320km per tank (I assume  @ 33l; when the lights go off) is kinda bad. The short burst from stop, go, stop, go will definitely hurt your FC. Even if you are stuck in the jam, if you slowly accelerate..you can see the difference. From 5 days of KL driving, I can still get about 430km per tank (@ 33l)
*
Well, for me. Full 30litre I travelled 330km, as I travel mostly of short distance. And lot's of idling.

Yea, the idling thinggie can be quite a pain actually. I'm contemplating trying out switching off my engine during long traffic jam to see how much fuel I can save. I think it may be substantial 'cos whenever I idle for a long time, my meter average reading drops at least 0.5 km/l.
*
Well, in the long run. Your starter may cost more than your fuel. Right?

i always parked car outside house at night...

my friends said its not good to let dew on top of car in the morning..
cuz it will damage the body juz like old protons car (no offense) body...

it will become bubbles and after dat pop and theres a hole on car's body..

he ask me to rinse it wif water every morning b4 sun getting hot...

is diz true or juz myths?
*
Yeah. Of course. Rain is acidic. And it will corrode your car, which is metal smile.gif
Better to spend 30second of your morning rinsing la.

Added on July 1, 2010, 9:42 amDrove to KLIA yesterday and got a very good FC. Almost clocked 200km and it's not even near half tank yet. Now I know how all the CITY owner managed to have such good FC for those driving even 10% of your tank on highway.
