Uh huh? 100% city driving?
What kind of modification you have done to your car?

But this is NHC thread.. I believe he is driving a honda city.
That is almost impossible FC to get.

i thought that you're confused with 100% city driving" phrase he mention.

it's very much how you drive it. if you notice, anytime you press on the acc. pedal, the current FC bar from 20km/l for example, drops to 15km/l then 10km/l and so on. If you release the the pedal, it will go up 20km/l all the way to 40km/l. The more distance you cover without pressing the acc. pedal, the higher your FC will be. So, based on this, press on acc. when you need it only. again, it's subjected to how far the distance you travel everyday with it. the further you drive, more data points it can take to calculate the average. the shorter, the less, means average is quite skewed.

and one thing, i read somewhere, the optimum rpm n speed for low FC for NHC, is 3 - 2.5rpm and 90km/h. I haven't try it yet.

Uh, how can the car move if we don't press on the accelerator pedal?
Furthermore I'm staying on top of a hill. tongue.gif Impossible to go up by not stepping on the accelerator.
In standard city driving in KL, difficult not to step on the accelerator.
Anyway, I'm pretty satisfied with my F/C right now.

Basement parking? They don't have CCTV there?
Don't make general assumptions, it can be someone else.

Which rubber is that? Can take a pic?

Yes Honda does sells that rubber separately but it is gonna cost you near RM20 (if my memory doesn't go wrong)..

Oh ya.. my 100% town drive now is having 13.4L on the average FC meter

Haha I'm driving the NHC now and no modification on my car so far. So it is purely stock. I realised that if you're light footed all the time , it doesnt mean that u will get the best FC. Try to let the gear change from 1st to 2nd to ..... whenever it needs to. Dont let it be on the 1st gear if it is supposed to be on 2nd gear. If not , u will realise that the rpm will be high and this will result in slightly higher FC. I hope that what i've mentioned is not too confusing for u guys to understand.

driving nhc is about knowing your gears and speed. Once you learn how the gear changes...stick to around 60km/h and you will get good fc. I am also 100% city driving..getting around 400km for full tank when the light comes out. However, I do travel a long LDP daily. Going to work..there are less traffic but going back is really jam. Somemore I often need to travel around my Taman and there are TONS of bumps and traffic light.

You just need to let the car accelerate slowly and not rev. People want to slot in...just let them be lah..no need to be kiasu.

Haha yeah. I never really rev my car unless i have to also. Anyway i have to wait for my second service , hopefully to see a bigger improvement in terms of FC and performance =D

Probably I want to install it too.

My F/C metre reaches 12.1km/l after that 500km trip.
Guess driving on normal flat road is much more economical than going uphill everyday.
