The FC has now reached 11.1km/l
A bit better than last 10.6km/l

Using full synthetic oil now.. hmm.. smell it.. no different than mineral oil.
should there be a difference in smell between mineral and full synthetic oil?

our city low end torque very poor, i think it is better to use slightly thicker synthetic oil to improve low end performance.

Well,I think I can't make it for the 3rd point,is it car problem?? Cuz when i drive around 100 km/h my rpm already reach 3000 smtg and I noticed when I start up the car,the engine sound was loud compare to Vios? Some more, the fuel comsuption quite high for me.........9.2 average mileage.......Should I tell to the service or is it normal?? Gonna bring my car to 1st service this Saturday~~~

normally rpm will be at around 2250 for 100km/h.
on start up vios engine sound louder.
9-10km/l is normal for city driving. for highway can reach 16km/l easily.
just accelerate the car slowly, let the car pick up speed slowly. if not the car will keep on down shift for 3-5sec then up shift again. that will increase ur fuel consumption.

When I say drive conservatively I do not mean drive like tortoise only. Just no heavy rev. Let the car speed up at it's own pace. When possible, always stay at 60-80km/h. When driving uphill, go faster in advance so that your momentum help you in going up hill. When driving in city, there will be lots of bumps and congestion. Slow down in advance. Let the car glide.

agree.
no heavy acceleration, keep the rev between 2-2.5k rpm let the car to speed up slowly. coz low end torque very poor.
dun let the gear to down shift on slightly up slope road by keeping the same throttle pedal pressure and let the speed drop. if not the gear will down shift for 2-3secs the shift up again.
by doing that i can get full tank 600km on 90% highway even i cruise at 120-140km/h. all thanks to the 5th gear and our engine are design for high rev. biggrin.gif
but if 90% city driving can get 300-330km only cry.gif

so i think our honda city should change name to honda highway. haha
