Hi guys, I need some form checking just to make sure I'm deadlifting right. Thanks flex.gif

You don't have to thrust your hips so forward. You're getting a deadlift video filmed, not a porn act. =P How much was that?

It's cool guys. C'mon.... I can't even tell how much is that from the video. It's ok to doubt but not to the point of giving him the impression his effort is being belittled.

Nah it's no worries. I know the 2 of you aren't jackasses, no harm done just that some newbies might take it the wrong way and get discouraged. Lol... heck I was a bit worried he might take my porn comment a bit too harshly. =P

Latest pics. Been desperately trying to bring up pretty much my entire upper body. Though, I've got some pretty obvious symmetry issues, ie right arm > left arm, left chest > right chest, right delt > left delt. sweat.gif doh.gif

Anyone has suggestions for getting things to even out?

I thought to post my back as I had significant development in that area due to my weighted chin up. The snake running at my back there is definitely from deadlift... tongue.gif. BTW, I'm a small guy 166cm 52kg~ lets call this the anatomy of soon-to-be-one-arm-chinup-member. Yeah... keep on dreaming, someday it WILL happen!

Hello guys, the proper way of deadlifting is to leave the weight on the floor after each rep then lift it back or hanging on the air ? I went thru some articles and stuffs in internet, it was supposed to be done in former way. How about all of u ?

Thanks in advance.

I started wearing a belt when deadlifting above 315lbs. Ask your gym members to stfu. You don't need a belt for EVERY lift.

The trainer in TF last time put on horrible story when i deadlift, saying that there was one guy snap his back and the medic has to come in and carry him out. Thx to his concern and make me scare.

thats right.. their story about popping sound after doing DL already make me thinking twice to lift..
but i just lift without belt until recently i get my belt..
for safety reason maybe, but more to make mind at ease after all these story..
