Nah. I'm on a low rep scheme. The body adapts after a certain amount of time so it's good to switch it up. I wanted to go heavy today so I kept my warm up sets low and heavy to prime myself for that lift. Else I'll be warming up with 225lbs x15-20 for a few sets.

watching you video is like a motivation to myself
lol biggrin.gif

so currently i follow your advise to do high reps high volume, after a period of time
i might switch to 5 x 5 for some size and strength gain, giving body a shock..any insight or input ?

Lol i don't like 5 x 5. Tried it but I don't like it. Not a bodybuilder's routine. Good for strength yeah but not for bodybuilding imo.

For strength, 5x5 really bumped the weights I am using now. It's great for a couple of months but no more than 3. It's definitely not for long-term.

could be one of the ways to break plateau
i believe in the classic splits or total body (with drop sets or supersets to break plateau or boredom)
hahaha

One of my favorite snack or carb would be weetbix from sanitranium or woolworth home brand weetbix. Its very2 good and cheap. 1serving (2weetbic) has 20grm of carbs with only a gram of sugar. So if you're getting board with oats weetbix would be another choice and it dissolve in water faster compare to oats..

How I usually prepare my weet-bix

1. Mix salad + 4 - 6 weet-bix + 2 whole egg + little water and microwave them for 40 - 80sec.

It's delicious enough by just eating like that. Yea, we will have opportunity to train together once I'm back, that would be somewhere in early July. See you soon

I believe Tesco/Jusco should have it. Good stuff, especially for breakfast with hot milk poured over it.
