Look at all my stars!!
|
As far as i am concerned, there are still a few online sites that do not require one to enter the CVV numbers and they can still process the card. Amazon.com was one such website. They changed their policy in late 2006 and we must now enter our CVV numbers.

QUOTE(hdroxy @ Apr 27 2010, 08:50 PM) Hi. Want to ask a question. I just bought an oversea server. I filled in my name, card no, adress etc but no CVV. And my account approved (they receive my payment). My question is, can your card really pay online even if you dont give ur CVV? I mean when my dad want to buy airline tickets (airasia, mas etc), always see him giving the CVV. So why my case no need... Asking coz it seems the security quite loose... I previously bought from Microsoft online and they do not require CVV for the transaction... I guess only those big shot company able to do transaction with CVV?

That's a good idea which is similar to what M2U practice now whereby a SMS notification will be sent to you when you may a 3rd party fund transfer from one account to another account.

QUOTE(Alec.Yong @ Apr 28 2010, 10:15 AM) so your target is RM15K? the higher the better bah. hsbc gave me another card which has lower limit, i ask why cannot match the another card? they replied because its single limit and not combine limit hence card a plus card b = new limit

I read somewhere in the thread that bank allow 3 days as a buffer from the due date before imposing late charge. Just wondering how about interest charge? if customer pay in full but the payment is delay 1 day from the due date, will the customer get charge on interest from all transactions up to the payment date?

It is good to have a secure verification process but sometimes if it gets way too long, it is annoying. Just want to check some simple transaction of credit card but its like taking exam answering so many damn questions. Is is annoying! Thats right. Its you CIMB BANK!

Currently I'm holding CC from Maybank, CIMB(both are petronas card) and Public bank. I want to apply a supplimentary card for my dad. May I know which bank is better among these three? Appreciate opinions from the expert.
it's mainly for overseas emergency use.
