Anyone here using amex gold CC? how long u guys wait until u guys receive ur card by post?

Before: they reject my application.
After: they accept my application.

2-3 days is for the current MBB card holders..

yeah, i'm holding MBB card too. Gold Card Petronas.

Then it shouldn't be a problem to get the card.

Anyway just asking, if i already have Maybank CC with CL of RM10k, will the CL shared together with my new amex cc? or the amex cc will come out with it own CL?

It will be a combined CL.

i own amex gold & petronas visa gold too. i hav a credit limit of 10k on each cards.

It's a combined CL.

If you max up your Visa CL, your Amex gold will have insufficient CL to swipe.

Other than if the Visa is issued under Maybank Islamic, then it will be seperate CL.

Amex gold cc can earn more MR points for selected categories of usage.

For the Amex charge card, not no CL. Just not pre-set spending limit.

Hi. Want to ask a question.

I just bought an oversea server. I filled in my name, card no, adress etc but no CVV. And my account approved (they receive my payment).

My question is, can your card really pay online even if you dont give ur CVV? I mean when my dad want to buy airline tickets (airasia, mas etc), always see him giving the CVV. So why my case no need...

Asking coz it seems the security quite loose...

You have a valid point to be worried about. It is not strange but it is not common either for such scenario.
But as you pointed out, you probably need to keep a close watch on your cc transactions - the moment you detect something strange, do report it to the bank.
