QUOTE(pizzaboy @ Feb 11 2010, 01:20 PM) I've a client that has major issues losing weight. I don't know what's wrong but I've already prescribed the 3L of water, cut carbs to as low as 20-30GMS a day, eat a tonne of greens and meat, circuit training, get stronger. I even prescribed the fish oil trick to increase fat reduction. I've tested her bodytype and it's the protein type. So everything I prescribe, is leaning towards that bodytype. It seems like nothing is working. Her bodyweight keeps going up. I'm starting to think that she doesn't adhere to meal timings and thinks too little about the importance of the things I'm telling her. All these methods work, and it's even worked with a client of mine that owns a pub and drinks every darned night. Even that client was able to lose 4KG. David on this forum has lost about 7-8KGs. It's extremely frustrating when you can't see the results you want on your clients. URghH!!! I'm also thinking it's because she's not motivated and her movement is extremely lethargic and slow which I've tried to fix with more plyos and stretching. Nothing seems to be working. There's a reason why people sprinkle olive oil on their foods and not cook with it. It kills the enzymes and whatever nutrient qualities are in there. check her thyroid maybe? There's one transformation in bb.com episode fail because one girl got problem with her thyroid, sumthing like that. Just saying. Chow

Chow You've got a good point. I'm also checking her digestive levels and hormones to see if they're squeezed out dry. Hopefully not, for if that's the case, then I've a lot purchasing of supps to do to correct that. And they wonder why I charge my price for personal training. IT's not easy ya know.

How you weight in pound? Calculate your protein intake daily according to that. 110lbs = 110grams of protein etc. Recommend on the 2x daily, although it depends on your gains. I'm newb. Taking my supps on the morning, before bed, and after workout.

I do 1 scoop every morning ( because your body has been fasting for 7-8 hours and u need the protein ) 1 Scoope before workout 1 scoop after workout. any other time your protein should come from solid food. So i think take 4 times per day is not good and u'll finish ur whey fast. Wheys are expensive Thats all. Dont take before sleep because if u want to do this u need to buy casein This post has been edited by david890701: Feb 12 2010, 10:33 PM

I think i 've made up my mind..Im gona take 2 times only per day...[1 in the morning and 1 after workout] Btw another quick question,do i need to take the whey everyday(morning) or only take it when im going to gym on that particular day? I think ill have that 2 times per day only if im going to gym on that day..can rite?..So that the whey can last longer...I got mine for RM17+ for the biggest bottel(all my 1 month pocket money)..lol

QUOTE(faizpsp89 @ Feb 12 2010, 10:55 PM) lose weight and gain muscle at the same time.. For your protein intake, why don't you use your instincts? You definitely need to take it after you workout. As for other times, take it when you feel you've not consumed enough protein that day, if you feel sore before you sleep or if you anticipate that you'll be without food for the next several hours for some reasons.

QUOTE(faizpsp89 @ Feb 12 2010, 10:55 PM) lose weight and gain muscle at the same time.. not trying to bring you down, but gaining muscle while cutting is rather hard...try google cutting and you'll know what i mean... my pov is, since you're a student, with a tight budget, get yourself a decent fat burner...that is if you have good diet...once you complete your cutting phase, then you can take protein...
