QUOTE(JonYeap @ Apr 24 2010, 01:23 AM) I have a chicken farm. They lay eggs at a tremendous rate cos they're scared of me. They know when they don't lay enough they end up getting eaten. So either way I win. Darklight -1 Chickens - 0 |

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Apr 24 2010, 01:13 AM) I don't even go above 40kg for my bicep curls. Gee. I think that guy should reduce the weight and go for proper contraction. Bodybuilding is about feel, not poundage. Progression is measured by size first, then poundage second. I keep trying to drill that into beginners. I don't know why they don't listen. *sob*wails... I'm so hurt. Sniff* He is not new..but he act like a new here =.=Never want to learn(research), I guess 1 more decade also cant shows any improvement.. Sry no offence...Chears~ |

QUOTE(de.crystal @ Apr 24 2010, 12:30 AM) To start with, I hate to see myself having such loose top, my belly and with 32 " waist (is that not fat). Cant stand that hence, I kept saying I wanna loose my belly fat. do you think you will looks awesome with 6abs attached on those skinny frame? all you need now is add alot of mass as you can. you will grow fat and muscle. Cut it later. QUOTE To be frank, I may have said this before. I joined gym in Dec 2008, only started going regularly and carried weight in June 2009 and Sept took fat burner till Dec 2009. Jan till March 2010 been lepaking till recently, forcing myself to go to the gym no matter how late I work until, sometimes even at 9pm. Make the Gym training as part of your life. like daily activity. lifestyle! change your mindset!QUOTE Any how I still think I have to give some credit to myself, else wont think i have motivation to go workout anymore 1. Last time was hard to even lift 5kg at 1 side using smith machine. compared to now 25kg. 2. Last time doing bicep curl, started at 20kg and now 43kg (if not mistaken). 3. A gym fren of mine, who used to be stronger than me was defeated by me, as he was only doing cardio and biceps. 4. Last time Cardio can only do speed 6-7, now 7 to 9 So I consider myself having slight improvement. Of course, I could do better. Self motivation is good. but instead of compare the friend that ONLY do cardio and BICEPS curls, why dont compare with someone who know his stuff? i assume your poundage for biceps culrs is in pound. Keep the routine simple as Stronglift 5x5. just f***ing do it without so many excuse. AND PLEASE READ THE EBOOK la! QUOTE I totally agree with John that I need a training partner to push me. But I am too shy to ask around seeing that everyone is soooo biggggg. I have a lackadaisical attitude. Someday, when I am in a mood, I can do a better job and someday I just cant. I still remember when I did bicep curl, I did not do it properly, lifted my arm also. Someone pointed out mistake (i think he is kmaru's fren-if i am not wrong, we work in the same gym), at first, I felt embarrassed. After that now whenever I do bicep curl I manage to do it properly already. Last time 43kg I had to lift up my arm as it was too heavy, now I can handle it quite alright. Gym rat is well known friendly. it is the matter of you willing make friend with them or not only QUOTE So my plan would be 1, 3, 5 work out, 2, 4 swimming, Do i need to take protein? or just eat normal saja? READ! READ READ! the nutrition PLEASE! Gain your knowledge, do you think everyday take 3 scoop whey protein and with crappy diet will bring u monster body? http://stronglifts.com/muscle-gaining-secr...jason-ferrugia/ http://stronglifts.com/nutrition-101-defin...lthy-nutrition/ http://stronglifts.com/how-to-build-muscle-mass-guide/ http://stronglifts.com/hardgainers-gain-weight-skinny-guys/ http://stronglifts.com/how-to-gain-weight-for-skinny-guys/ http://stronglifts.com/muscle-gaining-secr...jason-ferrugia/ QUOTE Actually I am not very ambitious, just wish to be » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « this is not big right? i will say you are still very far from that body, and those person looks bigger in real person, if you never change your attitude, you will never be there. his body is like Rain, do you know how hard Rain been training? |

QUOTE(de.crystal @ Apr 24 2010, 12:36 PM) if you are 180cm you should be around 80kg, so 1kg for 1cm after 100cm.meaning if 170kg, 70kg or so. please you are obviously not fat.about eating, just eat 6 meals a day, eat enough protein 1-1.5g per lbs of your weight. if you are 60kg 60 x 2.2 = 132 pounds so eat at least 132-180g of protein per day. and dont be afraid to eat more. smack on more rice/bread, carbs, before and after workout. but most importantly eat eat eat eat. if your belly is getting bigger but muscle is not getting bigger as you eat like this and train, you got to check your diet, what you're eating and check your workout routine, whether you are training enough.. it is just all about eating, training and resting. its not something that happens overnight. since u cant gain muscle overnight, so why worry about gaining fat overnight? if u eat like that and dont workout then u will definitely pack on the mass, but not in form of muscle. and for your info, muscles are responsible for 90 percent of the fat burnt. so more muscle = less fat. yeah_guyz has his point. read up, read a lot. and ask if ur not sure edit: that pic u posted, u want a body like his. u need to get ur frame bigger first. which is to starting lifting weights. its not going to happen by just cardio and losing bodyfat to show your abs.if u do that ull have your abs but you'll look like a twig with abs. that dude in the picture is not a twig with abs. notice he has muscles not just at the abs, but his whole body as well. he was probably bigger than that pic before he started cutting and losing the bodyfat to reach that shape. just get big first. losing the bodyfat will be easier when you have more muscle on you. QUOTE(cheezzzz @ Apr 24 2010, 02:47 PM) My left arm's lagging pretty badly behind my right. =/Uh, a typical back day consists of pullups, BB and DB rows and hyperextensions. No pulldowns or cable rows for the moment as the machines are busted. And no deadlifts as they're too taxing on my lower back. |
