@donpapachino,
Btw if it's an upgrade, U wouldn't need to cancel the old one cause it'll automatically be cancelled. |

QUOTE(brutus @ Jul 14 2009, 07:00 PM) The most i have heard so far is RM30K.QUOTE(bingozero @ Jul 14 2009, 07:03 PM) Today CIMB just call me to approve either one card, one is Petronas gold and the other is Islamic Gold, which one is better? They are more or less the same. Both offer cash back instead of point. Petronas Gold is suitable for you if you pump Petronas and shop regularly at Mesra shops and this card will give you 2% cash back whenever you swipe your card at any Petronas stations or shop at Mesra shops while all other transaction will entitle you to a 0.5% cash back..The CIMB Islamic Gold will give you a flat 0.5% cash back on all transaction except for petrol purchase. QUOTE(Gen-X @ Jul 14 2009, 08:44 PM) well my non gold card RHB EVO CL >30K. Years ago my UOB and HLB before upgrade to Plat also >RM30K. My AMEX Gold CC now also >RM30K (initially gave me RM20K). Happy to hear that there are people like you who are qualified but always keep a low profile. For me, I also feel benefits are more important than the colour of the card. I'd rather use CCs with more reward points and cash rebates. |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jul 14 2009, 09:37 AM) Yes somehow in the M2U system, the points U accumulate under Amex Credit Card reflects and show as TP but when you go make your redemption U won't be able to merge the 2 points. I'm not sure what the process is for online redemptions but u could try and let us know the outcome. tinkerbel,I would like to know whether we can merge all the TP from saving account, visa (terminated earlier but still got 1000+ TP balance) and amex (maybankard) together in this TP fair for redemption? If i'm not mistaken, remaining unclaimed Treatpoints earned from a cancelled card will be automatically forfeited. Same rule applies to all other credit cards issued by other banks. |

Same rule applies to all other credit cards issued by other banks. But I talked to a banker at Maybank CC Centre at Menara Maybank. They said can be transferred to another existing card. They also said that the TP is in a large sum of basket and doesn't matter where the points are tied to.This is so contradicting to what I got from Maybank CS (via phone). They also affirmed me that if Maybank CS cannot transfer the points; they asked me to go back to them (banker at CC centre) to perform it manually. I'm so confused with this now. |
