was just wondering, with all the day-specific offers (Just1, RHB Travel Money), do you get the discount based on transaction date or posting date?

my guess is..

CRM database = Existing customer
Credit Card Database = No Late Payment in Last 12 months

Bam! You get 13.5% for a 3 month old card

Just inform your issuing bank before your trip overseas and you can use your card normally as when you are in Malaysia.

iirc when i got my smart tag it was abt 22k~24k points. that was a year ago @ the treats points fair then.

Noticed the brochure no longer has smart tag as an option.

Slightly different question.

Assuming you have a credit limit of RM10K. But for a certain purchase, you needed to spend RM30K on the card. So can you:

1. Paid into your credit card account RM20K and you can swipe RM30K on the card now?

I was told some overseas card do not allow that. What about Malaysia?

I just did it with MBB recently. Just have to clear your outstanding balance to clear the credit limit. You can deposit via CDM or Maybank2u up to your outstanding balance to clear it. You can deposit more than your outstanding balance via CDM (in case u know of future purchases that will blow your limit). This does not work for limits locked in by EzyPay though.

Hi, I'm wondering whether we can pay credit card using cheque via cheque deposit machine.
*
yes you can but please factor in cheque clearing period for your payment. So don't bank in the cheque on the due date tongue.gif

in your statement you can see when the payment was made. BNM has made compulsory a 3-day grace period for payment from the due date from July 1 onwards. The only thing you need to be wary of is remembering the wrong due date.

If you got case to dispute you can call them and ask them to waive. Else complain to BNM.

true. agents usually do not want to take up such cases as they want commission and any borderline cases may = work for no commission.

going directly to the bank = service + additional income so no harm doing.
