Any idea how many Citibank Rewards Point will be given for every Ringgit charged overseas ? And how about HSBC ?

Citibank gives 1:1 but sometimes they do have promos; in fact I think there's an existing promo for more than 1x reward points now - check the website, I an't too sure.

Same boat here. I also never inform that application was declined.

mine is 4-5 weeks..

I ring & write to SCB to ask why the application has been declined.

Over the phone the answer is they cannot contact me. But in writing.. see below

Just received SMS saying that my just one credit card approved...

i just received sms that my scb card approved. an scb card i did not apply for

promptly called in and say cancel it and don't bother sending me the card
wondering how this agents fake signatures on application forms....

Anyone know what is the best mastercard around to apply other than JustOne ?

OCBC is the other Mastercard Titanium card issuer and their card are quite unique & not square like other cards. Maybe you can give them a try?

I dunno how mine approved since many of you all who has better cl than limit got rejected..I were praying hard today for some other reason...

is we able to report this kind of case to some 1 relevant authority? Bank negara?

Perhaps HSBC Gold Mastercard? Now they are doing promotion around Midvalley, 3X reward points.

That is funny. Free Visa card are harder to get than Mastercard. I wanted Visa but they always give me MC.

A friend of mine told me that, nowadays if you don have any loan in any bank, you are not entitle to get a credit card??? i asked her where she got the info, she said is from one of her friend that work in bank...

i wasnt sure about this... is it true???

thou i doubt so, cuz isnt it good that, a person without much commitment, means she/he is able to pay off the credit card debts??? unless she/he is shopaholic???

Yes I think HSBC is giving our 3 years AF at their MV roadshow.

I've not quite heard of that rule before - anyhow, I'm going to be putting my application in for the Amex Gold Credit Card. If your friend is right, my application will be rejected. I'll keep you all posted

i dint heard that rule as well... i wonder some of the fresh graduate banker today, are they really familiar with the banking rules... sorry if i offended anyone...

It could just be a new ruling but it doesn't make sense to me.

Speaking of which, do U think it'll be wise for me to apply for both Amex Gold Charge & CC at the same time or what?!

it doesnt make sense to me as well and she told me that 1 person is only entitle to no more than 3 card?? gosh, i never know it if its new rules

i dunno, i always apply those card at the same time ~~ i have the experience that, they reject me because i have too many card but when i cancel it off and reapply after 6 months at the same time, i get approved
