SCB rejected me and I got the outcome through CS phone.

Till now, I haven't received the decline letter from them. Should I obtain such letter from them to avoid any discrepancy in the future?

I am wondering those that get rejected by SCB Just One, did you receive the notification letter on your rejection?

My friends that applied, till now no news... Wonder were rejected or approved...I believe is rejected as no news but they didn't send any letter. It happened to me as well.

Other than SCB and Alliance Bank that offer cash rebate, what other banks are having such a good cash rebate?

SCB replied my email that they have FD pledgement against CC.

Guys, I called to SCB just now for JustOne CC and I was informed that there are no longer to accept this card application until further notice.

Did you know about it?

If it is true, then they must suffer a lot from paying the rebate instead of gaining the interest from cardholders. huhu

Wow! Like that existing JustOne cc should thank their lucky stars for getting this card already. If the application suspension is true then this reflect the card's popularity. Could be SCB had some sort of quota for the rebate and now almost all used already.

Interesting to watch whether SCB continue to support this product next year or change the T&C. If SCB change the T&C, I'm sure there will be a lot of defections/cancellations happening.
It is possible that they will change the T&C next year if they are suffering loss.

Do you notice that we can pay bills using MBF Cards service and rebate 1%.

One thing to tell you: Standard Chartered uses MBF cards as the medium to pay our bills that we pay through SCB online as I saw my TNB e-service shows the payment channel is MBF Cards Online

For AMEX CC,

did you all fill the email ID in the AMEX cc application form?

If you need statement to be sent, they will charge u RM5 per month.

Applied Amex credit card on Aug 14, received on Aug 20 by Maybank. Currently is under process.

Hope to see it appears in my m2u soon. biggrin.gif
