I called DA just now to convert my spankin new Macbook Pro    into installments

Smart Flexi-Pay 0% is only applicable to pay for hospital, insurance or education. For the rest, package goes like this :

3% upfront for 10 months installment
5% upfront for 20 months installment

What do u guys think? I hv cash for full payment in my ASB account.

Oh yes ... that is what I mean actually. Use card for the purchase and then pay it off in full when the statement comes. Actually it is beneficial to use cash back cards for large purchases ... you actually get an "indirect" discount!

In this case, it is NOT 0%.  Personally I prefer to pay cash instead of going for instalment plans; that's like cheating urself! kEKekkeke

they're charging 3% upfront. fd yields less than that. asb aint 10%, i'll put it conservatively at around 6% or so

different terminals will be different

if the cashier insert the card and din press anything, after a while the transaction will be rejected

By the way guys, i was at Hong Leong Bank website just now checking out the range of credit cards offered and found that Hong Leong Bank is offering up to 2% cash rebate for their Platinum cardholders on top of the RM1 = 1 Reward Point system. Any idea how does the 2% cash rebate works ? Is it something like Alliance Bank credit card ?

Come on fellows, you people are complaining about such trivial thing. I am a male and Alliance gave me a pink colored CC (never given me an option to choose) and I have to pay RM38 to have the picture changed.

Now can you imagine......a PINK credit card for a male!!!! I don't know whether to laugh or to cry.

I am wondering those that get rejected by SCB Just One, did you receive the notification letter on your rejection?

My friends that applied, till now no news... Wonder were rejected or approved...I believe is rejected as no news but they didn't send any letter. It happened to me as well.
