weighed meself

79kgs with BF at 19.8%!!! compared to last month 83 kgs 23% bf!  quite an improvement but sadly it was shortlived coz only did 7km of my 30km run, the revenge of side-stitch  sweat.gif  its been a while since got hit by that , i guess its from the lack of gym and running for the past 4days due to work..hectic last week!!! overall goal met..and this is not achieve by running only fatso's but by proper eating as well...damn control with my food  laugh.gif now to reward myself with some ice-chilled beers + buffalo wings  drool.gif
nin-niah-erhh......so fast already talk about beers. Today I went to stock-up my beers. My vendor said out-of-stock. I was like so disappointing.....cilakakak

you did very well in the challenge......3.2% BF shed......and 4kg........Tomolo morning, I know where I am heading for?

Added on May 16, 2009, 8:41 pmjamis - this is just the begining......

richard - keep it going in spite of slow start.....when you start losing weight and gaining the momentum, it will be cruise control....

Devilclot - that's actually pretty good lerh...3kg is not easy to achive....6lb.....You actually lose 1.5lb per week....better than norm....

Hi all!

Am back and I think I didn't make the target. Didn't watch it well enough in UK, even with doing so much walking and it's the nightly wine drinking.

Doing a weigh-in tomorrow as I usually do it in the morning before breakfast. But doubt it's going to change much. Weighing in at 100kg again so chances are it will just drop 1 kg overnight. 2 weeks ago, I was at 96 kg. Too much rich food and the alcohol.

Next time we do this, I'm going to stick to the original way I did it so that I don't get sidetrack i.e. daily weigh-ins. I'm at a stage where I get distracted so back to daily weigh-ins and the 1 kg drop per week for me.

I managed to lose 2kg but the porblem is I only lost about 0.5% BF........I am kind of wondering WHY? I did train harder than before the challenge. Perhaps I have reached the plateau. This morning, I was still training in blardeeeeee disbelief running in my mind.......

I think I am going to be meaner this coming weeks or so.........gonna trash myself real bad for the failure.

For those who didn't quite made it through the 30 day fast, it's a good time to do some reflection and some detailed screening of what we did wrong.

Me was lack of exercise and lack of food control. Have put on 3 kg which I now have to lose and more to make up for the extra bits!

1. Ate out too much of not exactly good choices, even if they were roasted. Going to eat home from now on. Starting today with homemade luicha (veggie mix) with a bit of rice mix.

2. More regular exercise. Going to go around shopping for a gym and pick one and see what happens.

3. Go back to daily weigh-ins or intervals of 1-2 days weigh-ins. I need to get obsessive about this so that I freak out and stick to 1. and 2.

For the others, really scrutinize what went wrong and solutions to fix it.

Syd G, when do we want to start the next one? smile.gif Folks may need a week just to rethink and research what they need to change.

My Problems:

1) same portion of food as before (perhaps a good thing), i still eat a lot like last time. Just that choice of food have changed.

2) Unable to wake up early enough for breakfast, most likely it's a brunch around 11.

3) Lack of stamina, almost impossible to do HIIT, my energy and breath quickly runs out and unable to replenish within the interval..

I have been yum-cha with my friend, my order --> ice lemon without sugar, lol, my friends expression was like @.@ Have not ate any maggie mee goreng eiter

Fat caliper = never seen before for sale in Malaysia
Weighing machine which able to scan bodyfat% and water% = most gym have it (i guess most people are using this method)

Lost 1.5 kg. Off from goal by 0.5 kg. Will be more diligent with next challenge.

The problems I faced
- not working out enough especially cardio
- weekend (friday night to sunday evening) diet horrible
- baking too much! almost every weekend except last two. give away most of it but still have to taste test and eat 1 or 2.
- getting sick too often sad.gif headaches, neck aches, uti ... lol

Didn't do cardio for like 3 weeks. Tomorrow going to start cutting again.

I think the best is you stop doing cardio for a month, then you cut again the following month. Repeat the same thing.

Because I already cut 20kg. So this is what I'm doing now.

As long I continue eating diet food, I don't see that a problem.
