Hi folks,
How we all doing? Feeling tired today. When one is looking at 500 people in a ventilation problem conference area, tired a bit lah. Sweating like buckets but dunno if that is good or not. Cheat eats : -1 small yam curry puff -Dinner time! Buffet dinner (ok, I cheated on fish and beef) + 3 glasses of wine. Exercise : Useless ones today. Just walking briskly everywhere, standing here and there. 15-20 min of learning poco-poco haha! That was fun. I had a good laff watching this video about Sarawak. It was a Quiz game for the Welcome Nite tonite. Was wondering why the committee was talking about the cow falling down from the sky. The native guy in costume holding the handphone is a lawyer by education who now owns a Tattoo Studie in Kuching known as Borneo Headhunters. Cow was funny. 2 more days of convention. Very hard not to get on a scale lah. |

QUOTE(charge-n-go @ Apr 19 2009, 09:43 AM) hahaha, now my belief in fast food is down to drain. Hmm....why don't you try one of those extreme fitness programs like Turbulence Training or Velocity Diet? Those have nutrition planning as well as exercise plans. There was once I eat fast food everyday for dinner, because I overtime in work, company sponsor. So after 3 months of eating, I increased 2kg. No exercise that time la, too tired liao. Now I am trying to search for cleaner food ady. Economy rice is still my favourite. I never take rice, just take those sayur and meat with 0 sauce. Then put them into my wholemeal bread. This Friday and Saturday I can hardly sleep at night. Exercise level is not that high, but I am hot ! Body feels like burning, sweating and after wake up the next morning, body full of energy although no enough sleep. The difference is, I started 6 meals per day since Friday. I guess this method works well. Since you have the stamina for those exercise, no harm trying it out. |

Must have been a hot day Syd G. *hugs* Sounds like you might have to run with a huge bag of water.
Hmm... would those water pouches-backpack thing work? Or are they too heavy? I always wondered about those things. |

sky.live : possible for 1300 calories but that may mean taking protein supplement as meal replacement though.
Each meal is like 300-400 calories only with 50-100 for 2x snack. Angmo cooking can allow this and I think Japanese home cook meal. Chinese homecook meal - have to jaga a bit but still possible. Prepare to eat a lot of raw salad. triple02 : with raw oats, try missing some other types of dried fruits other than raisins. Or even using real fruits. Don't put to much but just enough. I like bananas in it - makes it very sweet. if you cannot cut your ingrown toenail, go and see the doctor before it starts to get septic. disciple : check with syd g, tengster and pizzaboy. I dunno wor. Added on April 20, 2009, 8:11 amtriple02 : hmmm...there is a type of wheatgerm mix called Weetabix if you'd like to try it out. That has a lot of fibre and is a known complex carbo. The only thing is that it contains some white sugar but it's not so much that it's sweet. However, you'll need to account for it when counting how much carbo you take in. The standard Weetabix doesn't have much white sugar unlike the Weetbix Bites which you can eat whole since it has raisins and more sugar in it. The other option is trying out mueslis but getting one that doesn't have white sugar or coconut is a bit tough. If cannot avoid white sugar, I just buy the one with the lowest content. DannGunn : I eat oats that come premix together with wheat germ and dried fruits i.e. muesli. It's a bit more expensive because it's imported stuff.
Rather than put in white sugar or milo or honey in oats, try adding fresh fruits and dried fruits in it. The sugar from the fruits will go into the oats. Don't put too much in though, just a bit will do. If you don't want to have white sugar from fruits, buy the dried fruits in organic shops like cranberries and other dried fruits. Fresh fruits may be bananas, apples, pears. |

phew! panas. in the kitchen making honey wheat bread (baking atm), hong kong style cheese bake noodles with broccoli, celery, carrot, onions and garlic (stirfry a bit and then baked), apple pie muffins (156 calorie each so make for breakfast nice or snack).
Have to buy bigger oven. Stupid muffin tray couldn't fit in so ended up covering the openings with tea towel to try and keep the heat in but still no use. Had to cook longer than the 10-12 min recommended (about 40 min in total). These muffins easy to cook - just kacau and then put in tray, stick in oven, check that it's golden, finish! Lemme know if you guys want the recipe. It's 156 calories and 5g sugar. Not to be eaten all the time though (39% fat, 8% protein, 53% carb - based on calories). I've not used to having foods with refined sugar or even honey anymore. Once you've cut down alot of carbohydrates and sugar from your diet, you find that you can taste the sugar that is found naturally in vegetables and fruits. That's why I don't recommend honey in oats when talking it for breakfast. But, the milk will become sweet when it comes into contact with dried and fresh fruits when mix with the oats. dangunn : Hmm.... cranberries. My guess is that it's either cheaper at UNACO supermarket (they carry their own storebrand) or heading down to Bormill Estate shoplots and look for an Organic Shop there which gives 5-10% discount off the market price. Those would be unsweetened cranberries. You can find sweetened cranberries in Ta Kiong Supermarket, The Spring. Hmm...since you're in Kuching, you can find mueslis at Choice Daily but very expensive. It's about RM18-RM25 per box but Choice Daily has the widest range of mueslis, followed by Cold Storage and then Ta Kiong Supermarket. I'm currently trying out Weetabix but going to go back to muesli (bought WeightWatchers muesli - sometimes got, sometimes no have at Choice Daily or Cold Storage Supermarket). Imported fruits - Boulevard Hypermarket (always fresh and cheap). Local fruits - goto the wet market. Local Veggie - UNACO supermarket 4-5pm is delivery time, buy from here as it's cheaper than wet market and the sellers from wet market goto UNACO supermarket to get the veggies. Imported veggie - I goto Cold Storage Supermarket for the tomatoes and lettuce from Genting. redninja : where to get hold of Jillian's 30 day shred program? Wanna have a looksee. Disciple : Do fasting cardio works? |

Thanks redninja.
ATM, the yogurt I'm taking is Easiyo homemade ones with reduce fat and either vanilla or apricot flavour. If I had to buy a yogurt, I'd buy the fatfree Nestle one - less sour compared to Dutch Lady. I avoid can fruits because of possibility of high sugar and high salt content. Tend to put in fresh fruits or dried unsweetened fruits. |

LOL! Ok dokie kings83. just post what you're doing. we kind share what we do everyday and tease the hell out of one another.
*nudge nudge tengster* we got one more signups. Sidenote : 15 min of trying out a downsized version of HIIT on elliptical machine. Wah! Can feel the burn in the legs. Trying it at level 7 is hard and could only do it for 5 min and even then, at slow speed of 16-17 (not sure whether it's m/s). Tomorrow : planning to hit the company gym and get on a bike and see if can get a better looking bum and legs. I'm now on my way to becoming a vainpot and looking at mirrors and windows just to see if any weight loss. Adoi... |
