ya shud be good if anyone can volunteer Added on May 24, 2009, 3:23 amanyway.. my dietician said if u measure ur BMR.. for example BMR 1600kcal.. u have to take less 500kcal from requirement so u can approximately reduce 1kg per week with exercise ofcourse and stuff this is how the reduce patient's weight and stabilizes them before op or hw they manage during followup and planning by 500 means ill be taking max 1100kcal to constantly reduce 1kg per month This post has been edited by zedstat: May 24 2009, 03:23 AM |

I don't think as a man you should be going as low as 1100-1600 kcal unless you're going for a body building competition. Reducing calorie intake - yes that works but also increasing exercise form is equally important. Getting rid of fat seems to be dependant on the type of exercise you do and finding out what works may take awhile.
For operations, because there are hospital nurses to monitor your conditions as well, going that low is probably ok but still not healthy. |
