redninja : the weigh-in was proposed but some of us did weigh in anyway, not only clarkfann.

i weighed in after 2 weeks as felt that something is wrong and sure enough, there was. haven't weighed in since then.

clarkfann originally said that she didn't want to join but tengster pujuk-pujuk. tongue.gif

it was a nice experiment though about the weigh-in and not weigh-in. I think in future, I'm just going to weigh-in because I'm that type of person who wants to check. For others, if they don't want to weigh in so early, that's fine.

Although, one thing about this 30 day exercise, we seem to "potong steam" during the last week. So much cheating. OK, get back on track folks.

Went for a nice 45 min walk to a nearby English village which was slightly uphill. Then walk back another 45 min after lunch.

Guys,

ask yourself. if you cant keep clean the last 3 days then how are u going to maintain this for the next 200+ days of the year? smile.gif

i reckon, the next FATSO challenge will incorporate weekly weigh-in. weekly, not 3x/day

Someone's interested in my update? Auww... Here are some recaps biggrin.gif

Was in Bali for a week. So, for 7+4 days I didnt do anything. I was struggling to recover from my runs and my calories were way too low before, hence I used the hiatus to load up on organic Balinese food (they farm their own rice, plant their own veges without pesticides and raise their own chicken and they also catch fishies biggrin.gif) and for 4 days after that was lethargic as hell. We didnt have any processed food for 7 days (except for McDonalds @Kuta Beach n a 1ltr box of chocolate milk), and were spoiled with tonnes of fruits for breakfast. Came back to Malaysia and tried to eat fresh - but after 4 days I had boundless energy, was bouncing off the wall and such.

I started back on Monday. Did circuit training and sprints interval training and wrapped the workout with 45min power walk (no holding @ railing) and sprints (yes, sprints) on 15 deg incline.

Yesterday I went to Malacca to learn about Olympic lifting with pizzaboy. Learnt a basic snatch drill and revisited my squat (my 1 rep max last time was 52.5kg). Did 60kg 1 rep squat - was struggling a bit but it was so do-able it's amazing! 2 hours workout albeit a lot of rest in the middle, was sweating buckets and came back home with a lot of energy still. Slept like a baby for the whole night and it was one of the most awesome workout day ever.

Today I'll be doing another 30DS session in an hour's time and do a recovery 8 loop run around KLCC park later in the evening. Am contemplating a heart rate monitor w strap so that I can use it with the treadmill in the gym but price is too steep.

ok lah then i'll take the penalty slapped on me by tengster off. will keep to my original goal of 2kgs. i think weighing once a week is preferable to not weighing for a month. it's kind of a "checks & balances" sort of thing.

I agree with Syd G about the 200 days of controlling as well as the weekly weigh-in. That weigh-in will help to put us back on track, not 3x day weigh-in.

I'm enjoying time with my cousins in UK and getting a lot of reminders about health tips.

The one in Leeds : just go to the gym. She went and complained like here. "F, F, F, you sadist. How can people do this. blah blah blah". Then again, she also asked for the meanest , baddest PT in that gym so that he would call her and scold her for not showing up.

The other cousin in London : Just walk. So have been walking and walking and walking. Heading into London today for some more walking.

Will chat with you guys later on once I'm back at night.

hey guys,

I actually weighed & measured myself today...using calipers to keep track of BF....the measurement was done by my trainer....

am happy, happy, happy.... biggrin.gif

I lost ~4% of BF, which equal to abt 3kg of fats and LBM has increased by 2.8kg. So, I am gaining some muscles too. rclxm9.gif
