For me I had bad experience with 1 local bank where they charge me annual fee for a 4 months old unused CC.
Just because I'm helping my friend to earn commission, in the end I get nothing but hassle...

EON Bank Credit Card Free GSC Movie Ticket?, up to 50% discount?

i have googled out and found this link http://imdavidlee.com/free-gsc-movie-ticke...nk-credit-card/
but i still do not understand about the 50% discount...

platinum cardholder can get rm100 free? dog card holder rm60? may i know how to calculate?

Based on this table.

Think of it as a prepaid value inside your card, and each time you can only use amounts to pay for 50% of the ticket price.

Oh...I've just submitted my application without studying the T&C about the AF waiver. Can someone please confirm whether the AF waiver is based on yearly or daily spending?

Referring to one of my previous postings, is Shell included in the participating merchants for cash rebate? I thought the rebate is applicable to all retail purchases?
You are so kind! smile.gif I'll cancel whatever pre-approved cards that I never apply for.
You can just accept it if it is the cc that most fulfills your requirements. Even though it is free for life, you may need to think twice if it does not really fit your needs, in order to reduce your financial risk.

I've just received the JustOne cc, annual fee is based on minimum annual spending of 15k.
As for retail purchases, it mentioned got rebates for all retail purchases but for petrol it only mentioned about Petronas + Esso & Mobil doh.gif
that means petrol is not retail purchases? rclxub.gif

As for the debit and credit features, it's clear. The card has two numbers, one for credit - printed at the front of the card and one for debit - printed at the back of the card (debit will need to key in the PIN during transactions)

I also noticed the interest rate printed in the brochure for JustOne current account just dropped by 0.38% compared to the one provided on the website shakehead.gif

May be they follow current interest rate. AffinPlus current account is still the highest.

I can't figure out why SCB rejected your application in the first place, as you are qualified for Plat cc from other banks and Titanium requires lower income eligibility. You had cc or other acc with SCB before?

I had cc with SCB 7-8 years ago and was cancelled more than 6 years. In short, I held their cc for about 1-2 years. No bad records.

May be they checked my credit records and found that I have housing loan which is more than 200k plus. They called me 2 times. First was to ask my details. 2nd was to require me answer my credit records... what are the things I owe to banks....

The result was known 1 day later and declined. Following the result, I emailed them and expressed my unsatisfaction about the decision made.

They asked me to provide my income proof such as Borang B and bank statement..... At last I did not provide and I gave up with the mind that I applied their card not because I don't have any cards. I applied just because I like their rebates. Since they don't offer me, fine and I will just continue to support those banks that appreciating me.

I felt strange that my applications always being rejected if I applied myself either through bank or submitted directly to bank by fax or email.

But those that I applied through roadshow agents, I always get it approved.

So, in appreciating UOB Bank, I will use their card at www.payonline.com.my to pay utilities that I usually pay through AmBank Online.

Premier is not open for public application. You need to be a HSBC Premier customer in order to qualify for this card. So yes, it is kind of exclusive.

Hi,

I'm thinking of applying a supplementary card for my younger brother andI have a question about this.

I'm thinking of setting a credit limit for the supplementary card, let's say, RM 1000. As far as I know, the credit limit is shared with the principal card holder, right? So let's say the principal card credit limit is RM 6000, the supplementary card can only use up to RM 1000 out of the RM 6000 limit right?

The question is, how will the bank reset the supplementary's credit limit?

What would happen in the following scenario:

Principal card limit RM 6000
Supplementary card limit RM 1000

Supp card has spend RM 1000 for that month, and principal has spend RM 2000, so total spend is RM 3000.
Principal has made payment of RM 2000 to the bank, and RM 1000 balance is carried forward.

Does this reset supplementary card limit back to RM 0, as is he can spend another RM 1000 more?

Or does the bank implement shared credit limit, but different CC account number, as in the supplementary's limit will only reset if payment is made to the supplementary's CC account? rclxub.gif
