Hi,

I'm thinking of applying a supplementary card for my younger brother andI have a question about this.

I'm thinking of setting a credit limit for the supplementary card, let's say, RM 1000. As far as I know, the credit limit is shared with the principal card holder, right? So let's say the principal card credit limit is RM 6000, the supplementary card can only use up to RM 1000 out of the RM 6000 limit right?

The question is, how will the bank reset the supplementary's credit limit?

What would happen in the following scenario:

Principal card limit RM 6000
Supplementary card limit RM 1000

Supp card has spend RM 1000 for that month, and principal has spend RM 2000, so total spend is RM 3000.
Principal has made payment of RM 2000 to the bank, and RM 1000 balance is carried forward.

Does this reset supplementary card limit back to RM 0, as is he can spend another RM 1000 more?

Or does the bank implement shared credit limit, but different CC account number, as in the supplementary's limit will only reset if payment is made to the supplementary's CC account? rclxub.gif

Guys, I have a question about CC's interest-free period.

I have Master & Visa from Direct Access. I've read their fees charge and they mentioned that purchases will be interest free for 20 days from the statement date (provided I have no outstanding balance).

Let's say my statement date is on 10th every month, so if I made purchases on 11th June, the interest free period will only start counting on the next statement date which is 10th July? Which means my purchase on 11th June will be interest free till 30th July?

Is this correct? unsure.gif
