Hehe yah wor.. at western restaurant wor... Hmm mamak doesn't really have anything healthy to eat.. sweat.gif I've never set foot in mamak for MONTHS already! If not you can order their half boiled eggs I guess... roti paper?

If chinese restaurant I usually go for the chap fan (mixed rice). I'll ask for a plate without rice (yes i haven't touched rice for MONTHS also) and picked up mainly vegetables, tofu and only LITTLE MEAT. Chap fan also got lots of oil but at least you can control the amount you want to be plaed on the plate.

Just don't put mountain of vege and tofu of course sweat.gif

Actually, just do a fair share of cardio...can lose weight edi. I'm sure most of our meal type is fine.

I seldom take salad.....also lost about 10KG. LOL

And no...didnt go through starvation mode. =)

Mamak's healthies food i guess is the tandori chicken hehe.

But seriously, mamak make me real fat last time, since i was working night shift and the only restaurant open is mamak, and tat time my perut really round. and normally i will order maggi goreng ayam or roti telur bawang and 1 ketuk ayam.

Very good diet there. except for the dinner which is disagree. but overall its good. good protein, not enough healthy fats tho.

i know roti salad from BRJ. taste quite good, but i dont think it's heathy, it has lots of mayo man..

and yes, it's not really roti actually. it's some sorta thin layer popiahs skin alike thinggy

Salad is cheap and cheerful. I used to keep lettuce & cheese in the office fridge and bring grilled BBQ chicken from home. During lunch hour just pop the chicken in the microwave, take the lettuce and cheese, mix it around and I'm a happy camper.

Btw lettuce is a lousy vege - it's more than 90% water and doesnt really contain much nutrient - you're better off with broco or good ol' bayam.

the supermarket sells the brocolli quite expensive and owas keep the stern really really long and make it heavy and expensive.

i think soak it with hot water taste great tongue.gif, but dun soak it too long, the vit will get away too.
