To those who just subscribe the maxshit narrowband,

I myself also a victim of the stupid service, I took up the power package on the 19 April 2008 but the speed is powerless. Most of the time is less then 300kbps.

Luckily I manage to do a safe termination without any penalty of 18 months payment as advised by the customer service personal from maxshit narrowband and hopefully to get back my activation fee of RM 100 within 1-2 months.

You must make sure you have made a few reports on the bad service. Express your disappointment and then ask for safe termination. The customer service personal will advice you to return the full set to nearest MAXIS Center only and ask for the safe termination. You can only do so if you activate your line for less then 7 days (Cooling period). So save yourself before it is too late.

see, the issue here is, i'm living in an area which is covered by Maxis - which means if i want to have a broadband connection, it HAS to be Maxis, as there's no other alternative at present. Having said that, I don't know what the problem is as they are "investigating" the matter since a couple of days ago (Hotline call redirected to Bradband Team which redirected to Network Team). What is unfair is that we will still have to pay the full fees irregardless of weather we can actually use the service or not. And let's not mention about the whole 15x faster crap + the 18 month (We-know-people-will-not-read-this-goddam-fineprint-anyway-so-let's-scam-them-legally) contract which their sales people will conveniently forget to tell you at time of purchase.

The best form of advertising is word of mouth. Espcially when it comes to something like broadband, so cut the budget for misleading advertising and use it to get your product to work. If it works, and works well, i can promise you people will sign up, AND become loyal advocates for free.

And please change the goddam "on-hold-it's-really-15x-faster-even-my-auntie-says-so" bs to twinkle twinkle little star. peace.

Quite surprising when I went to low yat today, the celcom broadband booth is full with ppl and maxisbb seems to be empty? not attractive or maybe they have heard of our bashing and complaints for this MAXshit products. FYI last week those b@5tarD5 put an offer for RM78 for the power package. This for sure will congest the ever congested worst services in the world. rclxub.gif

i will throw back my maxis modem this afternoon....
just like what i said earlier, i got enuf complains and love letters to convince them that they are not providing good service, and the customer relation called me up and confirmed with me...

Don't worry..Sure u will get reply 1..I just get the head of secretariat reply by today..it takes about 10days for my case..They are busy for Maxis case now

i have finally terminated my maxis wireless broadband just now!!!!
ppl out there, if u made a lot of complains edi, just email the customer service stating that u want to request for account termination without paying penalty fee
such case will be handled very fast, i got my reply at the second day

I am currently not using my Maxis already because of the speed and hassle it gave me.

But I have not made any complain before. T_T
