guys, just do some screenshots on the maxis speed test, and save them, cos might need them when we really wanna complain MCMC...
I think it's better to do morning, afternoon, and night, everyday...
just mark the date and time.

LET MAKE SURE MAXIS REGRETS THIS TIME BY PROVIDING SERVICE THAT NO ONE CAN TAHAN!!!!

actually i do think that it's a good move to complain to MCMC, just that now we need more of ur screenshots to prove that the speed is really low, and some graph that shows that they are controlling our speed, just like guntang provided(btw, nice work there)...

they are really local made vampires, suck our money, and didnt even notice user about changes in their service!!!

i don think they need any reason to cap bandwidth now...
their service quality is like streamyx months ago, they only have 50GB bandwidth, but try to sell 150GB bandwidth like that...
but the difference is, streamyx at least have low latency, and still provide somewhat stable speed, but maxSucks?? they only care about their profit...
their customer service crew can prove it...
early this year, when they upgrade server, they make some mistake and the server cause very slow speed..
took their technician more then one week to find out the problem, and another week for their customer service crew to know...
also, i ask them before last time, and i found out that, except for opening a profile for u for the technician to refer, the best they can do is:
"Sir, pls switch off ur modem, and switch on again after at least 20mins, and restart ur PC, and plug out the LAN cable"..
RITE, LIKE THAT WILL EVER HELP....

lucky i use maxis for private line in my house so i can online 24/7, and i still have streamyx as backup connection, now using streamyx, suddenly remind me about the actual meaning of FAST

also, judging from ur words, u only use ur broadband for internet surfing, check mail, etc. All of this can also be done in 56k dial-up connection la, we all here are complaining cos of download, not just surfing net, and speed don really makes huge difference in surfing net, but it's very freaking important for downloaders

also, like u said, some business dudes also uses high speed internet to download slides and data files that is quite big from their email. I bet they are also quite pissed off with it, since:
1) if they need such connection for such file, they might as well used up 20GB before end of month, and u know what will happen
2)the high latency of maxisBB makes the page load even slower then wired broadband, even though the wired broadband have slower connection speed( and sometimes it wont even finish loading the site, just half page and stopped there)
3)maxisBB is unstable, as u all know, and if they are using file host to download instead, it will just DC half way, and u have to re download again, even if u can resume back, it would take u some sweet time to reconnect, then half way DC again....

on the above reason, i think that maxisBB is not even suitable for business users,correct me if i am wrong
i am not trying to say that u are wrong, butthead, but i see a lot of users experience this(including me), and also, this is just my opinion

also, butthead, i didnt mean that he is a maxis troop(cos they won call us to 'get the hell out of the network'), just say that don say something that makes himself sounds like

A technician called me regarding my complains about cannot log into online game in email i think in last month . i ask him the same question u asked them, and they say no, then i started bringing out some of my experience on bypassing the ports, and his answer do hint that they are doing something with the ports

if u mean so, let me tell u something

try calling them and say that u are facing very serious connection problem, they will only help in in some really basic customer service, like go to ur homepage, bla bla bla...
if u still say cannot, they will ONLY do 2 things, which is:
1) "Sir, can u switch off ur modem, unplug the lan cable form ur PC for at least 30mins? pls restart ur PC as well"
2)"er..sir, regarding on this case, i will open a case for u, a technician will approach to u within 5-7 working days"
and they really take 7 days to call u

if u are still not happy enuf, i have more...
remember early this year, when maxis say that they are doing some upgrade, and the server really got screw up and all our speed is damn slow??
i called them the night that the problem started, and it took the technician 7 days to called me up and tell me about this.
wait, this is not the end yet, then i called back to the customer service, and ask them if the server is facing some problem, and try guessing their answer..."no sir, we are don have any problem on our server currently that might cause u that".
i am very unsatisfy with that answer, so i called again another day, and i complained about the customer service quality, and why they don even know that the server is having a problem, that service crew answer me with this answer--"sir, if i was the one who answer ur call, then i would have told u that the server is having problem"

what does this prove?? the customer service themselves don have any inter-communication to exchange info, and they are trying to push away the responsibility to someone else!
can u cal this good?? well, not for me
at least for streamyx u can still speak to a technician on the spot.

also,
do not change ppl's name as u wish just because u do not agree with what he say. if u feel like u wanna flame him, just drop him some fact that he is wrong about, make him speechless, not trying to do such stupid thing as insulting ppl's username

normally con companies gives u some sweet in the start, to prove that they can actually provide very good service, then promote their product, and u acts as their 'free' promoter....
after they got enuf customer, then they started to play tricks...
just like now, that's why this thread exist
