We are very unsatisfied Maxis Wireless Broadband Power / Advance / Basic Package subscribers. And planning to form up a group people and seek for solution to cancel the service.

I'm collecting a list of LY.N forum members who are also dissatisfied with Maxis, and send complaint letters to Maxis, MCMC and NCCC to ensure we either get what we pay for, or we can terminate our contracts without any penalties.

Just came back from Maxshit Centre in TTDI after 2 hours of trouble shooting at that place, still getting the same old < 256kbps speed.
I went to Maxshit Centre because yesterday an operator told me that my hardware might be faulty. (<-- fairy tale)

So ended up getting another modem and go home to give it a shot. When I tested that idiot modem at home, still the same old shit speed. Then I called the Customer support to shoot some idiots, and finally after 30mins of romantic chat, I got confirmation from Maxshit that:

Bandwidth Usage Exceed 20GB Per Month Will Be Capped To 256kbps @ 32KBps

So, to all fellow forumers that are suffering now, please rise, and together we shall complain to MCMC and NCCC regarding this matter. And among you all, does anyone has some legal knowledge that can provide as a reference during this fight?

Solutions to seek:
1) Cancel that idiotic broadwidth limitation as we are signing for unlimited broadband at the first place
2) Termination of service without the unfair penalty.

For those who know any non-forumer that is also suffering from this Maxshit, feel free to pm me their email or msn. r-care, i read about your experience in the Offical Maxis Broadband Thread. Not much you can do now, unless we all join forces and go maxshit tower one day and negotiate with them. IMO, the first step we should do right now is try to communicate with maxshit first before further action, such as complain to MCMC etc.
Anyone got a better idea in this situation? Do not surrender your neck to this Buatan Malaysia vampire, must fight back!!!

I got 3 Maxshit Virus Con-band at home, 3 also loose to a 56kbps modem. The possibility of getting slow speed is 100% in this case.

Lame chettiar company. Speed recovered after 28th, which is today. Aih... 20GB bandwidth, how long can I stay uncapped? 1 week? 2 week? Nah~~ my fate depends on Ana-con-da's hand.

OMG, I found myself a brave Maxshit Cyber Trooper! Becoz normally they create dummy account and perform hit and run.
So, according to your definition, maxshit broadband packages is actually mean: Basic Email Package, Advanced Email Package and Power Email Package? I wonder what type of email that required you to have a 3.6Mbps bandwidth? (<- Edison's video huh?)
And the 20GB bandwidth limit is totally a scam, when they advertising their broadband as unlimited broadband.
Besides, when your speed being capped at 256kbps, you can't even surf and do your so called "email" properly. Open LY.N homepage needs 20secs, and open gmail page needs 22secs, and it's the html version of gmail. Think twice before you starting doing your daily spam. If one or two users complain, maybe it's not the truth. What if 9 out of 10 users complaining? Hehe, and the 10th satisfied user, you all try to guess is who?

Why don't we schedule a sunny Saturday morning and pay our dearest Con-Father, Anaconda Krishnan's Maxshit Tower of Corruption a warm visit, and try to negotiate to cancel the subscription without penalty. If the negotiation failed, then only we start thinking bout other plans. My suggestion is on 12th April, 2008. Time decide later.
Any one has any suggestion?

Hehe, if this Jason fella really need to send this kind big chunks, he will not being rude and simply say: "Maxis Broadband is not for you heavy duty uses....so get the hell outta the network." Because 20GB is not even enuff for a light user, it's only ~682MB/day. As you said, it's the multimedia age and sites getting heavier, 20GB runs out very fast.
All of us are here in this thread because we are having a common enemy, and not seeing each other as enemy or flaming each other.

To Jason36, you are welcome to join us for fighting against this 20GB limitation and their shitty supports. Shit happens, you will nvr know when you need to dl something big from your client or company via the internet, and found out speed being capped at 256kbps.

Even though I'm not very sure that all ports being blocked, but i'm pretty sure that we only haven some necessary port opened for us. This is their way to prevent ppl from using p2p, I dun think they will open it up easily, and I doubt that it's customizable on different user.

Currently, I think what we shud do now is go maxshit tower of corruption to talk to some person in-charge regarding the limitation and penalty for cancellation. Since they are violating many terms in the agreement we signed, we hav the rights to call this off as well. Not like we are asking presses to go or go screw them, but to look for a solution in this matter. If all these doesn't work well, then only we seek for other options?

By the way, butt-freezer also quite an appropriate nick to use in this matter, will freeze your butt until you can't sit well, can't sleep well and can't eat well.

Don't mention bout the speed they provide, when solely talking bout their customer service, it's truly amazing. They can even send someone that dunno anything bout network to do their network trouble shooting. We are the one that paying for their service, aren't we have the right to demand for a better service?

And I suspect this few ah keong, ah beng, ahmad, ah chan, wan, and etc is actually same guy. If you still getting too excited from our previous national election, I don't mind tat you all continue to cast some votes here. It's pretty obvious that most of the "No" votes are casted by real user, and the "Yes" votes casted by some fanbois. But I doubt that they are reading this, because they normally perform some hit and run tricks. If we definitely want to dig into this matter, all this posts will be definitely came from the same IP address.

The most important thing here, that I would like to say is: We are here to discuss a solution to get a better service from maxshit, not to get more flame from maxshit fanbois. If all this troopers or fanbois got so much free time to kill, why don't they juz spend sometime on improving the service.

Instead of explaning the contract to their customer during sign-up, their promoter choose to hide all these information away from the customer. Even though me and my friends got ask them bout the 3GB matter, what they told me is that not such thing in the agreement, and the broadband is definitely unlimited. Maxshit, stop telling fairy tales and admit that you conned us.

hehe, they wouldn't tell you how sux is their service at the moment while you are signing up. Then during the first 7-day period, maxshit will allocate every single bandwidth on hand to ur modem, and let you few happy and pass the 7-day return policy.
When later you found out how sux is their service and want to cancel it, they will threaten that you will need to pay the rest for the remaining month's subscription of 18 months. Ces't la Malaysia, Ces't la Maxshit~~

Whoa~~ since yesterday, maxshit din even want us to test the speed. They removed the speedtest link from their evil propaganda page. When i used history to open back the speedtest page, it shown that the speedtest's license expired. Maxshit, are you really that poor until cannot afford the license fee or you don't want us to knew the speed of your evil broadband? Or mayb like kukumalu said, maxshit spending too much money to buy yachts and foreign telco. Only God knows~~~
