Thank you techdroid for helping in this matter, and I really hope it does help out fellow forumers including myself. I've already sent in countless emails to few organizations including the above mentioned CFM, still waiting for reply.

hi there, this is my first post, it seem that I cannot find anywhere in the net to express my unsatisfactory findings about Maxis broadband. I'm using the ZTE600 modem with the power package and I'm using it now. It took me more than 20 minutes to go in my yahoo mail and activate the low yat forum account. I've expressed my feeling in other forums but nothing was done. Today it's about 1 1/2 mths using the maxis broadband. initially it was fun and fine but that was just for two weeks. sad.gif

I'm experiencing the QOS (Quality of service) varies from 6% to 18 %. I never get more than that. you can test this at http://bandwidthmeter.maxis.com.my. The bandwidth for download sometimes drop to < 6kbps and suddenly DC. uweeks....

Today also marked the ninth time calling 1-800-20-2000 and only today I've had the case number given and until now no phone calls recieved from maxis. (and I'm still waiting you see ) If permitted, I could also flash some records since going to photobucket via maxis was hell to slow.

So my word of advice please do not be so confident of maxis broadband since it's not promising at all. I'm sure to terminate their services if they cannot sought my problem.

I called 1800821222 the maxshit account dept to cancel my direct debit to prevent the Chettiar from scamming my card.

O = Operator, Me = ByteFreezer

Me: I would like to cancel my direct debit for wireless broadband.

O: May I have your number, sir.

Me: [phone number]

O: May I know this phone number registered under who?

Me: Not me, my gf.

O: Sir, I can't help you to cancel the direct debit if you are not the account holder.

Me: I'm not the account holder for this phone number, but I'm canceling direct debit for my broadband which registered under my name.

O: No Sir, sorry to tell you that you can't cancel the direct debit if you are not the account holder of this phone number.

Me: Huh?... What the hell have to do with the phone number and my broadband while the broadband registered under my name.

O: Sir, the answer is simple. You just ask Ms [my gf] call us to cancel the direct debit for the broadband.

Me: Huh?... What the heck? Do you really know that your company got such product named Maxis Wireless Broadband?

O: Ergh.... Wait a moment, sir....

Today i receive email from maxis due my complaint. I don't know if they can solve the problem and i believe they can't... I also send my complaint from aduan@cfm and now waiting their action.
What im thinking now is terminating the contract as i lost my respect to maxis capability and even when i call their centre, i start to scold them although sometime i supposed not do that... But what can i do... hear the name of maxis make my mind move like that...

Mr. Darshan from NCCC just call me, he received your email. He is now hoping more and more people ca email him about maxis complaints.

Byfreezer, will that be possible for you to put up a sample format that you did for your complaint? because according to him , your complaint is very details and that is that kind of information he will need when dealing with maxis.

Glad to see MCMC and NCCC show their concern over our frustration here. I believe without any feedback from us and they will be not aware of such big company dares to CON.

Come on, fellows. Gather our force and send email to NCCC's director. I had sent my complaint as well even though my evil contract just left 2months to expire.
