CIMB CS are full with shits. I call 3 of them and all of them gave me different idea. None was right.
Anyway you can view ur CC in clicks without having any deposit account for sure. All you need to do is fill up a form to apply for a pin at credit card centre, wait 2 or 3 weeks. upon receiving ur CC pin, put ur CC into ATM machine, change ur CC password(this pin can be use for fastcash so better change it carefully) and create an "E-Pin" at the same time. Go to cimbclicks, click on 1st time login, put in ur details and epin you created. And DONE.
However if you're already using clicks, just go to counter and apply for a pin. No need to do a 1st time login for ur CC. As long as you got an existing Clicks account, once u're CC pin is generated, it will be automatically reflect in ur existing clicks. The whole freaking idea to apply a CC pin here is because they need to create ur account somewhere. Once the CC is generated, clicks will put anything from there that have the same IC.
any yea if you got like more than 1 cc with CIMB, just apply for ONE pin is enough. You will still be able to view ur CC in clicks once ONE pin is generated. Eg u got 4 CC, u apply pin for one of the CC is good enough to allow you to view all 4 CC in clicks.

That's what I thought too. Then when I asked the CIMB CS how do I get an ATM PIN, she said I need to have a 'basic savings acount' first. I said are you sure? Sound ridiculous as other banks do not require me to hold a savings account? She then said, just open a savings account, minimum deposit RM20 only. No need to use also can, then I can get ATM card for ATM PIN. Unfortunately I don't have time to run around opening redundant accounts for no reason
Does anybody use CIMB cards (not DA) who's tried online access without a savings account?
I think when you mentioned ATM pin, the CS probably thought you mean ATM Card's pin which is why you're told that you need to have Sav ACC which is the ATM card. You should've say Credit Card pin instead. ATM pin != Credit Card pin.
Miscommunication maybe. And yea CIMB CS is not really all that helpful. Probably they require more training and understand of the whole system because after BCB and SBB merging, its a lil diff.
