QUOTE(David83 @ Feb 3 2008, 05:36 PM) So you able to view your statement online? Is there a section to show your accumulated DA points too? What you can see via CIMBClicks (for both CIMB and DA cards) would be the Transaction date Posting date Transaction description Amount Charged Unfortunately there's no PDF version of the statement that you can download nor it shows your accumulated DA points. David83 if you are familiar with Maybank2U transaction cc display ... it's about the same thing. This post has been edited by hye: Feb 3 2008, 06:19 PM

On top of that, with M2U, one could view the accumulated TP. M2U also doesn't offer itemizied statement in PDF form like HSBC.

I favor CC with e-Statement (PDF) facility as I don't have to bother about the statement in paper form anymore. You can keep years of statement without the need to worry about the tons of paper that it accumulates.

You can keep years of statement without the need to worry about the tons of paper that it accumulates. But HSBC doesn't offer a paperless option. Either you received the printed or you get both PDF and printed. There's no option for not receiving the printed statement. Come to think about it's kind of waste of papers.

Didn't really notice that too. My existing username is just alphabets. Password must be 8 characters only! That sucks. They shouls change the word from "should be" to "must consist". Password must consist 8 characters.

from what I know now, Citibank don't charge processing fee for Balance Transfer anymore. Also, they don't have penalty for early settlement unlike other banks where the rate is RM30 to RM100

Thanks for the info.

I'm OK with cc usage discipline and maybe that's why I never thought of it before.

I just transfered 18k My outstanding won't be that large amount. I tried to do a BT on CIMB DA and they said that it's RM 3k per application. They rejected it since the amount I wanted to transfer is RM 1.5k. So dissppointed but nevermind, I have paid full.

It depends on the bank's policy. The general rule is up to 85-90% of your credit limit. Might be lower or slightly higher but definitely not 100% of your limit. Normally it's minimum RM1k per transfer with up to 3 transfers maximum but this depends on how long is your BT repayment. I have seen banks asking for min RM2k for a 36 months repayment.

That's called a loan liao. But seriously, the longer you have to settle, the more your debt
